Orange diet
The orange diet exists in several types. Any of types promotes weight loss. And all thanks to properties which are possessed by this tasty fruit – orange.There is a legend that the orange diet was created in the 17th century by Ludovic the 14th favourite Ninon de Lanclo. She believed that orange fruits keep youth and beauty, and ate not less than 10 oranges a day! Today at an orange diet it is several versions, many of which are quite useful and do not assume such large number of a citrus in a diet.
Types of orange diets:
- Juice orange.
- Fruit, or mono-diet.
- Fruit 14-day.
- Fruit 21-day.
Juice orange
This diet suggests to drink from 0.5 to 1 liters of orange juice a day plus water. Means only are fresh the squeezed-out orange juice, only it does not contain a lot of sugar, contains cellulose and vitamin C. Such diet not longer lasts than 2 weeks, otherwise problems with health are possible.

Fruit
It is also popular diet because very easy. The idea consists in that there are fruits of oranges before each meal. It is a detox diet, it cleans from toxins, at the expense of it and the effect of weight loss is provided. There is also an option – fasting day on oranges, and then clarification happens quickly, without loss for an organism. But allows to lose a large number of excess weight for the short period.
14-day orange diet
Allows to lose weight by 7 kg. Existence of proteinaceous products in a diet do not allow to destroy muscle bulk.
The 1st day
- Breakfast: 1 orange, tea with a toast
- Lunch: 1 oranges and boiled egg
- Dinner: 2 tomatoes, 2 eggs and 1 salad
Having a snack: during the day 2 cups of kefir and 2 toasts are possible.
The 2nd and 3rd day
The same diet, but instead of eggs – boiled beef.
The 4th and 5th day
To replace beef with cottage cheese.
The 6th day
To replace cottage cheese with the boiled or baked fish.
The 7th day
To repeat the first day.
Day from the 8th on the 14th
Repetition of a diet of the first week.
21-day orange diet
Even more effective for loss of weight, than 14-day. But quite strict, not all can sustain it.
The 1st week
The diet includes 1 kg of oranges, 2 eggs and 2 liters of not carbonated mineral water – every day.
The 2nd week
To add to a diet porridge on water (without salt and oil).
The 3rd week
To replace porridge with crude fruit and vegetables. The amount of fruit and vegetables – is not limited.
During a diet it is strictly forbidden to drink alcoholic beverages and to smoke and also to consume the drinks containing caffeine.
Minuses and pluses of orange diets
The mono-orange diet if to adhere to it long, can is destructive to influence an organism. The long-term refusal of various dishes leads to the fact that muscles will not receive nutrients. Besides, a large amount of acid (and it contains in oranges) is shown not all. Oranges can cause digestion violation, heartburn. Often cause allergic reaction and if it is noticed – that a diet on oranges should be stopped.
But if to adhere to softer types of an orange diet, then advantages to an organism are obvious. Whole oranges are a good source of cellulose and fibers, they help to feel fullness of a stomach, and at the same time contain few calories.
You judge a, 1 cup of oranges contains 81 calories, 1 glass of orange juice – 112 calories. Restrictions only in number of the eaten oranges in day. It is considered that too large number of fruit in a diet leads to increase in sugar in food as fruit, of course, contain sugar, unlike vegetables. Therefore there is the known dietary rule: if you adhere to a fruit diet, eat no more than 2 cups of fruit a day if it is sweet fruit.
Structure of oranges in general very healthy: in them there are a vitamin C, minerals calcium, phosphorus, iron, useful oils and essential oils. All this does orange by fruit which prevents various infections, cleans an organism from toxins and slags. Fruit is equally useful to both children, and adults.
It is proved also that oranges allow to keep youth of skin and a hair, strengthen nails therefore the lack of nutrients, in principle, is compensated rich with vitamin structure.
