Orange – cheerfulness, health, beauty

Still in the ancient time people knew that oranges give longevity, save from a passive old age and many diseases. According to the Ancient Greek myth, gold apples grew in gardens of Hesperides, and Heracles had to bring them to Greece, but, having been frightened of a stoglavy dragon, asked to get them Atlanta, and itself instead of it supported the sky. It was the eleventh feat of Heracles, and oranges were those gold apples. Ancient Greeks, and behind them and scientists, some time called fruits of a citrus "гесперидиум" or "gesperidiya".

In general orange was called the Chinese apple as China was considered as the homeland of oranges where, according to scientists, it was grown up by more than 4 thousand years.

In Europe oranges appeared at the beginning of the 16th century. The first tree was grown up in Lisbon, but then oranges began to grow up in the territory of Italy and other countries with warm climate.

In French orange sounds as "оранж", from the Arab word "naranzh" that golden means. We perceive oranzh as orange that just and is color of orange.

In Russia oranges appeared about 300 years ago. In 1714 Menshikov built the palace with big greenhouses where parted oranges, and called it Oranienbaum. In 1780 Ekaterina ІІ appropriated to the city the coat of arms: on the silvery field an orange tree. In 1948 Oranienbaum was renamed into the city of Lomonosov.

Healthy force of orange:

- It is accepted at avitaminosis, breakdown, nervousness, bad mood.

- And also at atherosclerosis, a hypertension, obesity, violation of work of a digestive tract, a cardiovascular system, for prevention of flu and oncology.

- Oranges bring harmful cholesterol, heavy metals and toxins out of an organism. Nutritionists of the whole world recommend to eat oranges.

They found broad application and in cosmetology:

- The most plain mask

- The mask rejuvenating

To mix 4 tablespoons of the crushed orange with 1 egg white and 1 tablespoon of the oat flakes which are previously soaked in warm milk, it is good to mix and put on a face, a neck, a decollete for 15-20 minutes. To wash away warmish water. To wash cool, or to wipe a face with an ice cube.

- A mask for dry skin
To mix the crushed orange pulp with sour cream 1:1, to add an egg yolk, it is good to mix, put on a face for 10-15 minutes. To wash away broth of a camomile or camomile tea (bags sell in drugstore). In half an hour to wash cool water.
