Beverly Hills diet
Beverly Hills a diet were created by American Judee Mazel. She considers that loss of weight can be reached at consumption of products in the corresponding combinations and in the correct order.Judee fought against excess weight more than 20 years, since the childhood she was full. Doctors said that the girl is fated to be fat all life. But the girl wanted to understand why the organism does not allow it to grow thin. She read a lot of literature on dietology and food that helped it not only to lose weight, but also to develop own power supply system with which she soon shared with the whole world.
Moselle was succeeded to lose weight by 29 kilograms, and since then it did not recover on gram, keeping desirable weight. It described the achievements in the book "Diet of Beverly Hills" in 1981 which at once became the best-seller, more than 1 million copies were sold. And in 1996 Judee wrote the updated diet option under the name "New Diet of Beverly Hills".
The first diet of Beverly Hills lasted 42 days, and was generally constructed on a fruit diet. The new diet healthier, various and balanced, it lasts 35 days and during this time it is possible to lose weight by 5-12 kg.
Bases of the New diet of Beverly Hills
The most strict are the first 35 days of a diet. If they manage to be stood, then success of weight loss is guaranteed.
The main idea consists that Mazel found combinations of products which lead to increase in weight, they need to be removed from the diet. On the other hand, the author of a diet advises exact dosages and the correct order of consumption of food, it also has to lead to weight loss. According to Judee, consumption of products in the wrong sequence and a combination leads to the fact that food badly is digested or is not digested at all, and settles in the form of fat.
Rules of a diet
- All products are divided into the following categories: carbohydrates, proteins, fruit and fats.
- Proteins can be combined with fats.
- Carbohydrates can be eaten with fats.
- Fruit have to be eaten separately and before eating something else irrespective of the fact which meal on the account. That is, it "iron rule": fruit separately and first of all.
- For correct digestion each fruit should be eaten separately. For example, you need to eat orange. Eat it separately from any other fruit, and for an hour before the following fruit follows. If after oranges you eat other food, then more you have no right is any fruit after protein, carbohydrates and so forth. It is necessary to wait for the next day again to eat fruit.

- The diet of Beverly Hills follows the basic rules of separate food. So, proteins and carbohydrates can never be eaten together. Dairy products carry to proteinaceous. That is, it is possible to drink milk only together with proteinaceous dishes, but not with carbohydrates.
- Fats can be eaten with some one group of products: carbohydrates or proteins, but never with fruit.
- The approximate day diet has to look so: at first fruit, then – carbohydrates, afterwards – proteinaceous food. As soon as the product from one group is eaten and there was a transition to another, it is impossible to return to already eaten group of products again. It is necessary to wait for 2 hours between meals from different groups.
- Dietary carbonated drinks and dishes with artificial sweeteners are forbidden.
- Alcoholic beverages (beer, vodka, rum) belong to carbohydrates and have to be consumed together with carbohydrates. Wine belongs to the category of fruit, and it can be drunk together with fruit and it is impossible to drink wine alone, unlike fruit. Champagne – neutral drink, it is possible to consume it with anything.

Recommendations about the menu
The breakfast consists of fruit which can be eaten in unlimited number, but without mixing. That is, only one grade of fruit for once. To pass to other type of fruit it is necessary to wait 1 hour and to come to other group of products – 2 hours.
The lunch may contain carbohydrates. But protein is excluded. The dinner, for example, can be proteinaceous (to consist at least of 80% of protein).
From fruit the papaya is recommended, it splits fat in an organism, pineapple (too burns fat), watermelon (well hydrates, cleans). Fruit are digested quicker than other products, 15-20 minutes. Therefore they need to be eaten before all other meals that they did not prevent digestion of other products. Carbohydrates are digested till 3 o'clock, proteins – till 10 o'clock. And if you want to have effective digestion, then it is necessary to give to an organism these periods for process.
For digestion of each group of products the organism emits different enzymes therefore mixing of different groups of products is inadmissible not to prevent enzymes of each group to digest food of this group. For example, as soon as you drank coffee with milk, it is necessary to eat further only proteinaceous food (or for 80% consisting of protein) because enzymes for proteinaceous food began to be emitted.
Approximate menu:
Breakfast: dried apricots
Lunch: sandwich with avocado, tomatoes, salad and cabbage.
