Alkaline diet
Alkaline diets became popular thanks to the Hollywood celebrities. They propagandize an alkaline diet (known also under the name an acid-base diet) as a great way to lose weight, and to avoid such problems with health as arthritis and cancer. One of active supporters of an alkaline diet – Victoria Beckham, it even published alkaline recipes in the Twitter which to it helped to lose weight in 2013.
Diet bases
During a diet it is necessary to include in a diet highly - alkaline products (such as crude spinach, green vegetables, nuts and bean) and to avoid products which provoke an organism to production of acid (this meat, fish, dairy products, tea, coffee, carbonated drinks, alcohol).
The theory consists that it is much easier for our organism to process products which on an acidity scale (rn) keep within between indicators 7.35 and 7.45.
Except effect of weight reduction, the diet allows to calm pains, arthritises, headaches and an abdominal distension.
As the diet works
At first there is a little chemistry. Level of acidity is measured in figures from 0 to 14. The indicator rn 0 is completely acidic environment, rn 7 – neutral, and rn 14 – alkaline. Acidity levels different in different parts of an organism. For example, blood slightly alkaline (rn between 7.35 and 7.45), a stomach very sour (rn 3.5 and below), it helps it to digest food. Urine changes acidity level depending on that food which you ate. It is a certain mechanism to keep acidity level in blood steady.
The alkaline diet helps your organism to keep level rn in blood. Everything that enters a diet of an alkaline diet, does not change rn blood significantly, it also keeps acidity at the necessary level.
The diet generally consists of vegetables and fruit and a large amount of water. Such products as sugar, alcohol, the processed products are avoided. All this does a diet not only healthy, but also effective for weight loss.

The diet with the low maintenance of acid products (it is animal protein, bread) and high content alkaline (vegetables, fruit) has a number of advantages to health:

The diet suits vegetarians and vegans because dairy products under a ban. The diet is bezglyutenovy.

The menu for 1 day
Breakfast:
- Fried eggs with green onions, tomatoes, a Chinese cabbage and any other sheet green vegetables, paprika (1-2 eggs on the person).
- Glass of ginger tea.
Lunch:
- 1 pear
- Handful (1 ounce) of pumpkin sunflower seeds.
Lunch:
- Lentil soup
- Salad from 2 glasses of stewed vegetables: broccoli, cabbage, carrots, onions. To water with olive oil.

- 4 ounces of a cold or hot salmon (or chickens, tuna, tofu)
- Salad: greens, tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, broccoli, other fresh vegetables) – 2-3 cups on volume. To water with lemon juice or balsam vinegar.
Afternoon snack:
- The egg hard-boiled to cut and strew with sea salt and chopped parsley
- Strips of red sweet pepper, celery or carrots.

Dinner:
- 4 ounces of fish, chickens, turkey or other meat
- The baked yam or sweet potato
- Fresh vegetables salad
or
- Paste (from buckwheat, rice, an amaranth, but not from wheat) with a large number of greens, arugula, pine nuts, garlic, lemon juice and a dried peel, salt and pepper.
- Garnish: vegetable marrows with garlic and olive oil. It is possible to add some grated parmesan.
- Seasonal fruit. In the summer – nectarines, cherry, grapes, a melon. In the winter – baked pears and baked apples.
