Diet against a depression
The diet is recommended for increase in mood and stabilization of an emotional background. Duration of a diet is from 3 to 7 days. Though the diet does not solve the main problems which led to a depression, but the organization of healthy nutrition promotes a mood raising. For this purpose the diet included the products promoting production of hormone of pleasure (serotonin), containing vitamins of group B, E, anti-depressive substances (folic acid, selenium, tryptophane).The recommended products: meat of a chicken, turkey, beef liver, fish (tuna, trout, mackerel, sardines), seafood; eggs; fresh milk and fermented milk products, cheese; vegetables (carrots, sweet pepper, green onions, tomatoes, peas, celery, asparagus, bush pumpkins); fruit (bananas, citrus, kiwi) and berries (blackcurrant, cranberry); bean (haricot, lentil); wheat bran, nuts; seasonings (rosemary, tarragon, basil, Regan); dark chocolate; infusions of herbs (St. John's wort, mint, marjoram).
During a diet it is impossible to take alcoholic beverages, bread, carbonated drinks, any food with fat.
Approximate day menu
Breakfast: soft-boiled egg, small loaf with hard cheese and a leaf of parsley, sweet tea with chocolate (30 g).
The 2nd breakfast: the fruit salad from a kiwi and tangerine with yogurt strewed with grated nuts.
Lunch: the turkey stewed with vegetables in sour cream, tomatoes and cucumbers sheep cheese and olive oil salad, bananas with whipped cream.
Afternoon snack: mint tea (glass) with blackcurrant jam.
Dinner: the trout baked with cheese, haricot salad and asparaguses, hot chocolate.
For the night: St. John's wort infusion (glass).
