"It" (1990)

Each 27-30 years in the town of Derry of the State of Maine the monster wakes up. It kills children. Embodies the most frightening them internal fears! And seven teenagers who formed own club of losers had to face it. For them the monster accepted an image of the clown Pennivayz - one of favourite appearances. And only one is clear: for each of children the meeting with a monster will become a turning point in life. However, it is necessary still to try not to die in a fight with IT!

"It" - one of the most tremendous powerful and unforgettable creations of the king of horrors Stephen King! That case when both the book and its screen version is magnificent! But we will talk about the "cine" embodiment of the novel.

My acquaintance with "It" took place exactly thanks to the movie. At that time I did not read the book of a similar genre yet.

As now I remember: I am 12 years old, I at the girlfriend, wait when she is going to go together with me on birthday to one more girl and that it was not boring, included one of videotapes that found on a shelf. But to look it turned out literally minutes 20 as it was time to leave. Then I asked this cartridge for the girlfriend, and we with parents saw "It" (1990) houses.

Well to tell? At that time this cinema was the most terrible that I could imagine to myself! Very much impressed scenes with the monster and an ingenious game of Tim Carry! Certainly, I many times reconsidered "It" (1990) already at adult age, with the great pleasure, but those, the first impressions, after all, as it often happens, the strongest!

Last year I, at last, mastered the book.

Who does not know, neither more nor less - 1243 pages.

Well to tell: expected what will be not especially interesting as I know the screen version very well. However, as it appeared, the film is shot though on the basis of the novel, but nevertheless with pretty impressive deviations from the text! As a result, read the book with pleasure though continually compared with a picture.

But we will return to the screen version of 1990. I will Not Spoylerit. However, I will note that the cast was picked up just perfectly! The plot assumes development of a plot in two periods of time. And the matured heroes are very similar to "themselves" at teenage age!

Pennivayz performed by Tim Carry is simply inimitable! His only one look from the screen can "scold the impressionable person to stones"! And the main objective of the character monster also consists in it!

The special attention is deserved by musical registration of a picture! It is inimitable! Well so approaches a plot that for fear really "blood in veins runs cold". At least, in the childhood I most of all was afraid of the terrible moments accompanied with music!

Both the movie and the book, certainly, deserve attention of fans of a genre! I recommend both for viewing, and for reading.

P.S. In 2017 there was one more screen version "Ono". Too quite good, is brought more closer to the text. But, in my opinion, the screen version of 1990 after all is much more interesting! And IT is difficult "to surpass" Tim Carry in a role!
