"D'Artagnan and three musketeers" (1979)

"D'Artagnan and three musketeers" became for me, perhaps, the most memorable adventure movie of the last century!


History of the poor Gascon who went to the capital of France with the purpose to become the musketeer and found three loyal friends, very much was pleasant to our family! Many times we gathered at the screen to listen to already so fallen in love songs of the Russian television musical!

And at teenage age I read the book by A. Dumas "Three musketeers" which was also pleasant to me, but the movie nevertheless impressed more!

Improbable cast, dynamism of a plot, music, songs, and emotions... What is only costed by the well-known moment when D'Artagnan, already forever, says goodbye to the beauty - Konstantion... By the way, mother in confidence told me that my aunt persuaded them to call with the father me this rare name as shortly before my birth the musical was shown once again on TV.


Athós was my favourite always: quiet, thoughtful, resolute, courageous.


Very much I like an episode where the "There Is in the Count Park a Black Pond" song, even goosebumps sounds!

And however many there were screen versions by A. Dumas "Three musketeers" - it was not better than our Russian movie of 1979, is not present and will never be! And all because in this musical really there is soul, sincerity and improbable power!

P.S. I remember, worked as the guide in the country camp and even called group - "Musketeers!"

Even the motto was such:
"For the musketeer - a point of honor
To save the friend!
And our motto is known to all:
One for all -
And all for one!"
