Down Volga through Vasyuki

Holiday – great time. I only just depart from it. To horror there was no wish to come to work. And in the first days after return from a short, but fascinating, informative travel still it seems as shook me. And there, by motor ship, I did not notice rolling. Or rather, first felt and even reeled a little, walking up and down on the deck. And then walked, like on the ground.


Generally, I was in a cruise across Volga. And it was my first such experience. Earlier unless by motor ships took hour walks. Across the same Volga: in Samara, Nizhny Novgorod, Volgograd. And at the sea I love this business too. As the person living far from a high water I adore what in ordinary life is inaccessible to me. But here so to live several days by motor ship – I did not have it yet.


Route down Volga such: Nizhny Novgorod – Kozmodemyansk – Cheboksary – Kazan - Ulyanovsk – Samara – Saratov. The beautiful Volga cities, the majority of which I already visited earlier. Somewhere was already more than ten years ago, and somewhere quite recently. In Saratov it appeared for the first time in life. And in Kozmodemyansk which became for me pleasant opening. It is small the small town in the Republic of Mari El. It is well-known that became a prototype of Vasyuki – those that are described in the novel "Twelve Chairs". There Ostap Bender built the plan of conquest of the world and held a simultaneous chess game. Well, so now locals present. I think, I will tell about this place separately.
