Order taking for participation in the creative competition "About My Area" began

In Moscow order taking for the children's competition "About My Area" started. It is the creative project designed to reflect unique lines and features of various districts of Moscow. The main objective of a competition which is held already for the second time – to inspire children and teenagers on a research and studying of history and sights of the area, to give the chance to tell about it, using for this purpose photos, drawings, video records and other forms of art. Children and teenagers from 4 to 17 years can become participants of a competition.



"Our competition helps children to develop creative abilities, to look for unique places in each capital area. Today it is very important to bring up a responsible attitude to the modern urban environment, to inspire on studying of the world around and hometown and also to care for those who are near – from lyudeydo pets. Such connection of history, culture and creativity inspires young Muscovites on studying of the world around and hometown, learns to express thoughts, the ideas and emotions art means", – the chairman of jury of a competition, the publicist and the media expert Anton Khrekov told.



Order taking for participation in a competition is conducted in four nominations:

• Story "My Family": in the nomination stories about family members and the photo on which they are represented during walk, rest or work are accepted;
• Drawing "My area. My yard": on a competition it is possible to submit the drawing executed by hand in any art equipment in which the architectural construction, a landscape, an art object, the street, an athletic field or the favourite yard are represented;
• Excursion "My area": participants are offered to create the card of a walking route on one of districts of the city, to describe its sights and to illustrate the story with photos of the chosen places;
• Video history "My Pet": on a competition are accepted amusing stories about house favourites – participants need to write the story and to shoot the interesting video on its basis.



Representatives of creative professions, the famous artists, recognized leaders of the creative industry entered into jury of the Competition.

Authors of the brightest and interesting works will win memorable prizes.

Creative works are accepted till August 15, 2023.
