Easter Brood hen ornament.

Soft toys are loved not only by children. Undoubtedly, are especially pleasant, the toys made with own hands. The brood hen executed in rural style will become a remarkable gift for Easter. And not only.

MATERIALS

old knitted sweater (or other knitted product)
the sheet of thin felt of brown color 1.5 - 2 mm - 1 piece.
the sheet of dense cream felt 4 mm thick - 1 piece.
the sheet of thin felt of orange color 1.5 - 2 mm - 1 piece.
tape with pompons of orange color - 1 m
decorative ribbon 1.5-2 cm wide - 1 m
wooden buttons - 2 pieces.
piece of leather, zimsh or kozhezamenitel (30х30 cm)
ready eyes for soft toys - 2 pieces.

tape "zigzag" of brown color - 1 m
tape "zigzag" of orange color - 1 m

Step 1


You will find product details. For this purpose spread out them on inner side of knitwear and lead round a detail of a body of chicken No. 1 (2 details) and bottom No. 2 (1 detail). Cut out, having left allowances for a seam about 5 mm.

Step 2


On dense felt "coffee with milk" colors spread out details: tail No. 7, beak No. 8, comb No. 6, wing No. 5 (2 details). It is also possible to make beard No. 9 of dense felt — then it will be single-layer. That tails were more dense, they can be made of dense felt or of two layers of thin felt.

Step 3

On thin felt of orange color spread out details: wing No. 3, tail No. 7 (2 details), eye No. 10. If you are going to make beard No. 9 double and to fill sintepon, then it needs to be made also 2 of its patterns of orange thin felt too. On thin felt of brown color spread out and lead round wing No. 3 (2 details), eye No. 11 (2 details). Cut out all details.

Step 4


Spread out wing No. 4 and lead round from inner side of skin (2 details), cut out.

Step 5


Cut out bores on details of a carcass of chicken and sew up them. Put 2 details of a carcass of chicken the faces inside, enclose between them in suitable places of a detail of a comb and tail (2 thin orange felt details of a tail, a tail detail, a beak, a comb from dense felt "coffee with milk") and also a small beard if you do it of dense felt. Sew a back of chicken from a small beard until the end of a tail, having left not sewn up the lower part of a product.

Step 6


Sew in a bottom. Surely leave not sewn up an opening in a tail part to turn out a product and to fill it sintepon.

Step 7


Turn out a product and fill it sintepon.

Step 8


On a wing of brown color from thin felt sew a wing from skin, then on a wing from skin — a wing from dense felt. Now cover inner side of a brown wing from the thin fop with an orange wing from thin felt and sew it. It will help to hide stitches and to make a wrong side accurate. Specularly repeat these actions with the second copies of details.

Step 9


Sewing a button in the top part of a wing, sew a design from wings to a carcass. If you do a beard not of the dense fop and, respectively, did not sew it at a stage of the 5th step, it must be done now. For this purpose sew 2 details of a beard from the thin fop among themselves, having left an opening. Through it twist a beard and fill it sintepon. Sew a beard slightly below than a beak.

Decorate a product a tape.

Step 11


Fasten (sew or stick together among themselves) round thin brown and dense felt details of eyes. Sew or paste symmetrically ready details to a product in suitable places. From above paste eyes of a soft toy.

Step 12


Easter Brood hen ornament is ready. Now it is possible to weave out of fresh, thin, yet not rigid birch branches for a brood hen a nest - that is, a wreath of the suitable size.
