The city in which I live - Komsomolsk-on-Amur

I am from Komsomolsk-on-Amur. If who does not know, the city is located in Khabarovsk Krai, the Far East.

My city quite young, this year to it is executed 89 years. A City Day at us - on June 12.

Earlier on its place there was a village Perm, but in 1932 it is officially renamed into the city of Komsomolsk-on-Amur.


City absolutely small. According to 2020 - 244,768 people. It is slightly more, than it is registered on our website.

It is registered: 226625

But personally for me, it is huge plus! I am tired of an excessive dvizhukha. Even coming to Khabarovsk where the population is a little more 500 thousand, to me it is already uncomfortable. But, perhaps, all this is simple a matter of habit (what with me would be in Moscow?).

In Komsomolsk-on-Amur it is developed an avia and shipbuilding. Also the petroplant which periodically "poisons" inhabitants with the emissions functions. But it is, of course, a separate subject.

The city is divided into two areas: Central and Lenin. Our family always lived and now lives in Central. By default, inhabitants call these areas "City" and "Dzyomgi". Here we live in the city.

As well as in all (well or in many) the cities, the main place where it is possible to take a walk with pleasure - the embankment. In our case, Amur River.

Unfortunately, now there is its reconstruction therefore I could not make especially colourful photos. Especially, evening and any foliage.

However, I cannot but show a monument to first builders and an eternal flame.

We like to walk and at Yunosti Square, so called the area with fountains at the central park near the ZLK palace where the Krasny movie theater is also located. Now everything is gray there and is sad, and in the summer - in greens, beautifully! And fountains work.


The movie theater has no beautiful view, to it now repair and who would allocate finance which allegedly to the city is listed.

It is drama theater, it was completely repaired not so long ago.


Also very nice places for a sit-round gathering are near, very much I love them.
