Indonesia in Moscow. A part of the island on a palm...

In these days off in Moscow the Festival of the Indonesian culture in the memorable place - the Garden the Hermitage was held.

At first I want to tell a little you about the town. It is really unique park - the art monument located in the heart of the capital on a Carriage row on the place of the former estate of the merchant V.I. Olontsov.

Since 1894, namely then the garden officially opened for visitors, it underwent all changes, but, undoubtedly, to the best.
Now the park the Hermitage became the favourite place of Muscovites and guests of the capital. In a shadow of trees it is possible to have a rest here after day of work, to visit theater, to kiss under a magic ringing of the music of wind located at a monument to all in love and just to look at the fountainlet.


from August 4 to August 6, 2017 this cozy town turned into the center of the Indonesian culture.

The festivals devoted to the different countries of our immense Earth can often be met in various corners of the city. These are, as a rule, the unique actions helping to learn features of these or those people, to learn its traditions.

To me it is very close and to horror the culture of such states as India, China, Indonesia is interesting. It attracts me for a long time therefore, undoubtedly, I since the morning went to conquer islands, in Day of Indonesia all cream of such islands as Bali, Java, Papua and so forth was flown down here.

Crossing a park threshold you get to other world.

Everywhere colourful Oriental dresses, chants, thematic master classes, national suits and even fashion show!

But, about everything one after another.
The festival lasted 3 days. I, of course, prepared in advance.

Also went to absorb the atmosphere of a holiday.
I very much liked the organization of an action, all park was broken into thematic zones, but it was so unobtrusive and cozy.
I not for the first time am on east actions of such plan, and so, I can tell that this festival is many-sided and designed for the versatile viewer.
I was struck by a market - it was special, most transferring the culture of the country.

I nearly bought huge Buddha. And still I madly liked a mask...


Besides souvenirs here visitors were waited by hand-made of a thing and accessories from the famous masters and designers of the islands of Indonesia.
Various handbags, footwear, scarfs and stoles and also ridiculous masks...


As at any festival day of Indonesia offered various national dishes: pies, exotic fruit and natural ice cream in tastes of mushrooms, charcoal...
Inside I treat exotic watchfully, I was never famous for a strong stomach...

There is a separate wish to tell about fashionable displays of designer national dresses. It is faultlessly beautiful...
It is womanly and is majestic.

Here you will not see revealing dresses, another here... the female beauty dressed in expensive fabrics which and are poured in the sun.

The brightest impression of such festivals, undoubtedly, the national wedding ceremony is. I observed it at the bottom of India earlier, here the garden arbor the Hermitage was decorated with flowers, candles and gold figurines...
And inside there took place the sacrament.

On all platform of a festival thematic expositions with which it was possible to be photographed to imprint romanticism of islands for memory were placed...


Girls in national dresses with pleasure communicated with visitors (only in English)...

At a festival everyone could find something to liking, there was a language tent where everyone was invited to a fact-finding course of Indonesian, and in the depth of the park the teacher yogis carried out "a greeting of the sun". There was also a hall of predictions. Tarot cards, runes, coins, spirits of stones were ready to glance in the future...

Everywhere music sounded, someone sang, and someone played.
At the same time the people are so open that it was possible easy to approach and tell: "Teach me also!" And they will prompt, will teach, will play with you.

The special attention is deserved by a recreation area - bright red inflatable hammocks lamzak - a counter of this season. From it there is no wish to rise at all.

And for children the special atmosphere reigned here.

Each child could try the hand in surfing and diving. In the certain pool there took place immersion with the real aqualung, and in other 15-meter pool was trained to surfing on the real boards under the leadership of the experienced instructor.

And for those who are afraid of water or do not want to get wet some kind of surfing was also on asphalt.

Indonesia - it fascinates by the magnificence, the pacification, beauty and grace, heat and mysteriousness, from the island to the island it is another. And it is necessary to fall in love with these islands, customs, temples and the sea...

It is a dream... and sometime it will be carried out!
