More than 15 thousand nominees from all territorial subjects of the Russian Federation annually take part in an award.

"The award finds unique talents on open spaces of our country from year to year, but the main thing – it motivates children and teachers to creativity with love to the home ground, its history and culture", - the CEO of Parliamentary club "Russian Parliamentarian" Igor Vladimirovich Kirpichev emphasized.
Especially for a ceremony the children's musical theater "Misteriya" of Association of figures of children's creativity prepared the large-scale dramatized action on the basis of the Russian national fairy tales dated for a Year of family. The performances done by winners of an award became bright accents of an event.

Not the first year in a row the businessman and patron Svyatoslav Kapustin who became one of initiators of the "Modern Technologies in Creativity" nomination acts as the general partner of an award. This year over 600 applications from more than 200 cities of Russia are submitted to the nominations. Within the Fine arts nomination for the sixth time together with ZHK "Nevsky Palette" the All-Russian art competition "Art — a Battle of the Cities" in which children drew hometown landscapes was held. On the format and scale the Skill Palette project for teachers, and its result - the fourth release of the catalog "TOP 100 of Methodical Developments of Teachers of Art Creativity" of the same name helping teachers to exchange from the whole country developments and lessons for children became unique. "In four years the Skill Palette catalog was strongly included into working practice of teachers-artists from the whole country. For any grade level: from kindergarten, lessons FROM at school, to art school and school there are here unique developments, ready lessons which help to form and develop with children of the young artist, to give them esthetic education which surely will help with the future", - the board member of ZHK "Nevsky Palette" Efim Zagorodnikov told.

The All-Russian competition of the essay "Culture of the Native Land" became a new competition of this year. Participants prepared the essay about cultural figures and the arts living, creating in their city, thereby plunging into its culture.
