As I was frightened of breast cancer. Video about mammography in New Zealand

Two weeks ago the husband insisted that I made inspection of a breast, last time I did it many years ago in Russia and everything was normal, by the way. And here God ordered. Near supermarket there is a mobile laboratory...

In New Zealand for women the free program of prevention of breast cancer works. Every two years each woman aged from 45 up to 69 years has the right to undergo free inspection of a breast in the local medical center or in the mobile center, in specially equipped bus which drives about on towns and within several weeks costs in the most crowded place.

What signs demonstrate that inspection needs to be done urgently:

1. Emergence in breasts of tumors, cones, consolidations of fabric and a breast skin thickening.

2. Change of a form and size of a breast.

3. Unusual breast pain.

4. Skin of a breast becomes wrinkled or with dimples.

5. Irritation or reddening of skin which is observed only on a breast.

6. Any changes in a nipple:

- The nipple is kind of turned from its usual situation;

- There is no allocation from a nipple when you do not squeeze it and for this purpose the reasons.

I was told that if to find nothing then, nobody will call, and will just send on e-mail the answer that all of norms. As I got a fright when yesterday I was called!!!

I took a bath, the call was taken by the husband, and too strained, I was asked to arrive to repeated inspection in the large medical center for inspection of a breast in the suburb of the New Zealand capital. It gave me a tube and I heard that I have something not so with the left breast. At once calmed, told that usually on repeated inspection of fear are not confirmed.

Generally, I decided not to pull, and registered for today. In the second video I tell about repeated inspection.



On the same device as in mobile laboratory, me scanned only the left breast and told that if everything is normal, I will be released at once and if the doctor sees that something not so, then will appoint additional inspection, and I can spend in the center of half a day or even the whole day if it is required to do a biopsy.

We waited for minutes 15, and... I was called on one inspection. It was ultrasonography. To the husband allowed to be present. My left breast long and very in detail under all corners was studied, I saw all on the monitor that there in a breast. It was very interesting to see as it there inside is arranged. And two doctors on different monitors looked this time.

To our great relief both of them calmed me and told that the biopsy is not required that as a result they found nothing suspicious.

It seemed to me that at me wings grew.
