Dzintars true spirit of the USSR...

Life in the USSR was at the same time both difficult, and joyful. Small pleasures to us were brought by scarce cosmetics and of course perfumery which was very complex to be got... on big protection with an enormous overpayment, but for us - the female is not present anything impossible and we managed to buy tremendous perfume, having waited in huge lines in TSUMAKH or haberdasheries, then carefully bore home the trophies got in an unequal fight with the same hunters behind beauty.
If illicit overseas spirits were available not to all, then Baltic were on free sale and on quality than did not concede to a desired French perfume. The Dzintars factory made a large number of perfumery products which had success with the Soviet unpampered women.
Spirits of "Allegro" with the real sounding shipra-ruzh were especially remembered, to me they smelled of poppy color, the Turkish rose, musk, juniper berries and a moss, is very womanly and is elegant.
The sweet pretty girl of Kristine pleased with freshness of meadow flowers with a wood thin saw cut of a cedar.
Compositions of those times were similar in the base, it is a lot of clove burning oil, gentle rose attar, sensual santal, and also ringing lilies of the valley, fresh oranges and a bergamot, but also rare components such as tuberose, vetiver, precious ambergris and musk were added. For depth of sounding added elegant dampness of an oak moss.
I remember these delightful spirits in a tiny bottle on a silk substrate and the name it was "SOLO". The name precisely characterized spirits, it was perhaps the most unusual composition from an infinite chain of the perfumery products which are turned out by Dzintars.
One elegantly issued bottle deserved special attention, it was the heavy bubble from polished glass with the pasted cameo from porcelain with the image of a gentle rose.
Spirits thinly smelled of pink petals, with the sharp dominating carnation in a vetiverno-musky frame, in a loop the white freesia with a ripe peach smelled sweet.
KREDO these spirits, I ooochen loved and as required always ran in perfumery department of huge GUM to buy a lovely bottle with a sweet smell of an iris, a violet, a tuberose, a spring ringing of landyshevy hand bells and a recognizable carnation which beautifully shaded all flower bouquet, the persistent spice.
Rigan... if I am not mistaken, then on advertizing Mâris Liepa flaunted. We already had a republished heavy bottle, a cylindrical form. Also the bottle of the ladies' Rigan was just the same.
Very high-quality perfumery works with richness of the diverse shades. These spirits for me smelled of a ylang-ylang, white roses, a jasmine, needles and of course an oak moss which added nobility and firmness of composition.
As, I already mentioned, all Riga spirits smelled approximately equally, but the parties which somewhere are the soloist were played by a carnation and where the lily of the valley had force of sounding, in other compositions the rose or an erotichnost of a jasmine dominated.
For my perception Baltic perfume, despite a region prokhladnost, after all exhaled warm aroma of coniferous pitch and fantastically beautiful, slightly warmed with sunshine... amber.
But, anyway, all of us loved these small bottles which brought us a lot of pleasure, the fragrance.
