John Noll (John Nollet) conducted courses for hairdressers in ladies' salons before he became the favourite hairdresser on shooting stages and met those who became his regular customers subsequently: Vanessa Paradis, Monica Bellucci, Virginie Ledoouian, Emmanuel Bert. (The list of his famous clients is long to impropriety!).

4 years as John Noll opened own salon (the prices fluctuate from 75 to 350 euros there) in Paris, continuing to travel over all globe with a hairbrush in hands, following the star clients on shootings or on festivals.


John Noll: "I quickly understood that I want to brush in a different way. When I studied in the north of France, I also did not imagine that it is possible to travel and brush at the same time!"

wowcharm: How from usual salons did you pass into the world creative?

John Noll: Once I met the choreographer Dominique Bague who to me suggested to cooperate in her statements in Montpellier (the city in the south of France, on the bank of the Mediterranean Sea - T. Mass). This meeting changed my life. Then there were both Monica Bellucci, and Vanessa Paradis and Amelie Pulan.

wowcharm: How the ideas of hairstyles for this or that image are born?

John Noll: Work with the director of the movie usually narrow, the ideas are born right after reading of the scenario. Also I listen to the director and I watch actresses whom has to brush. They speak to me about the doubts, about fears, I absorb their emotions and desires. To turn, for example, Monica Bellucci in Cleopatra is a long work. I try that the actress felt conveniently that expectation was short, and cooperation with the stylist by more effective."

wowcharm: Amelie Pulan with the caret conquered the whole world!

John Noll: Amelie Pulan is the whole story! I did not know what strong this hairstyle will turn out. The director saw the heroine with a tail, and I presented to a caret at once. But at the same time I also did not think that the caret will make such success. It was the real alchemy! I am proud of my participation in this adventure!

wowcharm: With which else of the most beautiful and famous women do you dream to work?

John Noll: I brushed many beautiful women in France and abroad. But never before it happened to work from Nicole Kidman. She is beautiful also without my councils, but I would dream to do for her hair giving more than freedom and movements to hair.

wowcharm: What in your opinion to opinion - an ideal hairstyle?

John Noll: It is a hairstyle which brushes the hair easily, moves. The hairdresser is close to the architect: he creates volumes, matters. I love when locks find the place. When in a hairstyle there is no artificiality. The same with a color. I am inspired by the nature. I always represent what effect will have color under the sun. I seldom depart from natural scale of the woman.

7 conditions for a good hairstyle:

1. A good hairstyle - beautiful tapering or well built long caret, for example.
