Wide Maslenitsa of 2023 in the Kremlin to Izmailovo

On February 25 and 26, 2023 in the center of the Russian culture "The Kremlin to Izmailovo" will traditionally note one of the most cheerful holidays - Maslenitsa!

To see off winter in the Kremlin to Izmailovo, with its bright Russian color and the atmosphere, became tradition for Muscovites and city visitors. For days off you will live "the Celebration of Maslenitsa", Zaigrysh, "Gourmand", "Walk about", "Mother-in-law parties", "Daughter-in-law parties" and, of course, "Shrove Sunday" which will come to the end with a bright event: burning of a huge effigy of Maslenitsa! Shows of hodulistov-giant and effective a flare show will complement a holiday with unforgettable emotions and impressions!

On February 25, 2023, on Saturday, "The Kremlin to Izmailovo" invites little guests to become participants of a fascinating travel on Pancake Week!

The leader Ivan Tsarevich on the street stage of the central square will tell about traditions of a farewell to winter, and he will be helped by buffoons, girls nested dolls and fairy tale characters. All this will be followed by the Russian traditional entertainments. During the performances and active games there will take place draws of prizes from partners of an action. And, of course, for guests of a complex master classes and an entertainment will be organized by pancakes.

12:00 – the beginning of the animation program of Maslenitsa;
12:30 – Pancake week representation on the main street stage of "The Kremlin to Izmailovo";
14:00 – 15:00 – competitions in a hobby-horsingu on the central square;
15:00 – representation of Kikikmora art theater on the street stage;
15:30 – on central spare an interactive and spectacular competition in tossing of pancakes;
18:00 – a flare show and burning of a bright and elegant effigy of Maslenitsa on the central square.

On February 26, 2023, on Sunday, "The Kremlin to Izmailovo" invites guests of all age to a farewell to winter and a meeting of spring! The best folklore staff of Heat Bird TV channel will show the dramatized representations. Animators in the Russian suits will involve guests in ancient ceremonies. The Moscow Association of Culinary specialists and the best the chef of the country will set the next culinary record and will hold master classes, and students of culinary colleges will present to guests of a holiday Pancake week dishes according to traditional Russian recipes.

During Maslenitsa there will take place draws of prizes from partners of an action, traditional Pancake week games and, of course, entertainments different types of pancakes. The most dexterous and fearless guests of Wide Maslenitsa will independently get gifts, getting on high Pancake week columns. And also visitors of the Kremlin to Izmailovo will be able to observe fisticuffs and to participate in the Russian entertainments.

Izmaylovsky handicraftsmen will traditionally open workshops where will train persons interested in the Russian crafts: to potter's skill, creation of Pancake week dolls from a bast, baking of pancakes and many other.

(exit masked, hodulist, performance of music folklore bands, holding draws);
13:30 – 15:00 – a culinary interactive on the central square "Highest pancake tower", preparation the Tsar pancake (friendship pancake) on a huge frying pan and a competition in tossing of pancakes from the best chefs of the Moscow Association of Culinary specialists; competitions in preparation of traditional Pancake week dishes among students of HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS, colleges and schools in the Seigniorial hall;
15:30 – 16:30 fisticuffs on the main central square;
19:00 – a flare show and burning of an elegant effigy of Maslenitsa with all illnesses and adversities of the leaving winter.
