How to clean the washing machine

Fill in 2 glasses of white vinegar in the washing machine and start a long cycle of washing with hot water without addition of clothes and other detergents. Allow the machine to work several minutes to prepare solution, and then temporarily stop program execution to give it time to work on pollution in a tank.

In an hour remove the washing machine from a pause and wait for the end of washing. Then start a short cycle of washing to wash away the decision remains. Vinegar will clean the washing machine from a scum, will remove soap savings and other pollution, will help to get rid of bacteria and an unpleasant smell. You can replace vinegar with two glasses of chloric bleach, but it is more toxic means.

After discharge of water wipe an internal part of a door and rubber sealants around it with the soft fabric moistened in mix of an equal amount of water and vinegar. Pay to sealants special attention as they often are a trap for dirty water and various deposits. Then walk on them a damp rag and wipe dry.

In the described way it is possible to get rid also of a musty smell which quite often reaches from the washing machine after washing of linen. And for prevention of its repeated emergence sometimes when washing towels add a glass of vinegar and wash them at high temperature. It will not do much harm to towels and will help to disinfect them. Also baking soda perfectly copes with removal of smells, but it is not so pernicious for the bacteria causing a smell.
