Cushions - an interior element.

Pillows give special charm and unique character to any interior.

For a long time the pillows which were earlier intending only for a dream became an element of decorative registration of the house.
Such, apparently, small details of an interior are capable to refresh the bothered furniture and to update the living room or the bedroom. To decorate the room with bright pillows and rollers with brilliant cords and brushes even the beginning needlewoman will be able, without having spent for it a lot of time.

For pillows it is good to use fabrics which have the characteristic "furniture" drawing: cartouches, architectural details. They are successfully combined with fabrics in a classical strip and also with striped wall-paper.


Also more complex combinations - for example, repetition of motive of a rose, a wreath, garland on pillows, curtains, carpets, porcelain are possible. But at such complex ensemble combinations it is important to keep track of coloristic unity, keeping the dominating color (a background or the main ornamental motive). It is not less important to consider also style of an ornament.


Expressiveness to an interior will be given by such contrast combinations as, for example, orange pillows on a blue sofa or pink and crimson pillows on a green or yellow sofa. Well shades yellow and green, diluted with a white cage look on pillows.


Insufficiency of color impressions can affect depressing inhabitants of the house, but also glut can tire and irritate with bright, contrast colors. Therefore to come to some optimal variant, do not forget one golden rule: the furniture and curtains are brighter, the more reserved there have to be pillows and if coloring of walls quiet, fabrics on pillows have to be bright.


In the children's room cheerful orange and cream, white-green or contrast "folklore" combinations are quite appropriate.
