Two books which treat to a shower

Probably, many of you know that I am a big fan of reading. In any case, without books I do not imagine life!
Nevertheless, I am very selective and exacting in respect of literature, and the fact that I can forgive to cinema, in books just I do not accept.

Today I will tell you about two books which I read quite recently. Both of them treat categories of those that lighten the mood, help to endure disorders and to get rid of a depression and, it is kind of loud sounded, lecht I smother.

So, I present you "Blackberry wine" of Joanne Harris.

The main character Jay Macintosh is a writer. But he understands that in essence he created only one standing novel. All the rest - the low-standard reading matter written for money.
Once the picture of the house about which many years ago it was told by the somewhat eccentric old man gardener, the friend of his childhood, Pyablochny Joe catches sight to him. Jay right there makes out the transaction on purchase of the house in France (he lives in London), and flies there in hope for a long-awaited meeting...
Presentiments do not deceive him: he meets the old friend and not only it. And in general all his life in a root changes. And fault to they are six bottles of domestic wine, made Pyablochny Joe...

And then, in six weeks before this story began, others were. Strangers. "Special". Strangers who stirred up all this trouble though they too, appear, got lost behind brilliant new bottles. Them was six, at everyone – the small, handwritten label, traffic jams are soldered by candle wax. At each bottle around a neck – a lace of the color: red, as raspberry, green, as elder, blue, as blackberry, yellow, as dogrose, black, as bullaces. The last bottle tied with a brown lace contained wine about what even I did not hear. "Special, 1975", the label said, letters faded to a shade of old tea. But in a secret buzzed a beehive. From them there was no rescue, from their shepotok, whistle, laughter.

The book very kind and light, it all is precisely penetrated by magic. In it it is told about friendship and love, about the truth and justice, talents and desire to give to people joy. It so bewitches that there are no forces to come off it, and you savor each line as good wine...
I so fell in love with this book that I will precisely read it still more than once. And now I want to read other book by the same author - "Chocolate".

The second book - "Fried Green Tomatoes in Polustanok Cafe" of Fannie Flegg.

Life of the ordinary American woman Evelina Kouch completely changes when in nursing home where her mother-in-law will live, it meets Virginia Tredgud. That tells the new acquaintance about the small settlement the Halt where there passed all her life, about her relatives, friends, neighbors. And, it is over, about Idzhi Tredgud cafe and Ruf Jamieson in which even at the time of the Great Depression fed all - both white, and black.

I well remember how it the first time appeared in cafe. I regaled on fried green tomatoes, and he knocked illegally and asked to eat. Yoji left on kitchen and returned with this poor guy soon. He was awfully dirty, all in coal dust, and it ordered to go to wash to him. And then went to prepare for him to eat and says: in life did not meet the person who would look such lonely. He told that his name is Smokey Phillips, but Idzhi christened his Smokey Odinochkoy, and since then every time when saw it, she said: "There is an old vagrant cat of Smokey Odinochk".

This book is filled with various events and characters, kindness, humour and humanity. It is incredibly easy to read it, but it is difficult to come off it.
By the way, at the end of the book recipes of the dishes moving in the Halt cafe are submitted. So, the one whom the book will inspire will be able to make both fried green tomatoes, and a hominy, and nut pie.
Of course, I very much want to get acquainted also with other works by Fannie Flegg.
