Amazing place - Dombai

This year we with the husband were lucky and gave a big holiday for 3 weeks to both him and me. And we decided to travel with children by car of all 20 days. Considered all wishes of each of us and made a route.

Children and I wanted at the sea. Therefore decided to spend week at the sea. I will not stop on it in detail, have well a rest, in July of heat inconceivable there. Except the beach went to have a good time to circus, a dolphinarium, an oceanarium, etc. everything that is usually loved by children. And as in the childhood I did not have all this, I too with pleasure as the child rejoiced to these entertainments.

And the husband wanted to mountains, and to show us their beauty. Therefore after Anapa we went to Kislovodsk. In the city we walked a little, there is a huge Colonnade park.



Took a walk in the park, the large territory that there is only not present. But generally we went in the neighborhood of the city. Because around indescribable beauty. Mountains and hills, serpentines, lakes.


Especially I was impressed by Dombai – the mountain territory in Karachay-Cherkessia. Dombai is one of pearls of the North Caucasus. Generally there fans of mountain skiing go to a winter holiday. But in the summer we noticed that there were many people too.

The road to mountains very beautiful, on the way you also receive the mass of impressions and pleasure from what was seen. Places were to tell directly narrow roads and such huge rocks towered.







On the way we met many mosques.




The name Dombai comes from top Dombay-Ulgen (4046 m). It is the highest point North – Western Caucasus and Abkhazia. If to watch the card, then it is visible that to Sukhum no distance.


However the border to Abkhazia is closed. We stopped at the Teberdinsky reserve, further already the border also stood protection. Communicated to them a little. Told that during the Soviet period the border was open, and all could go to the sea.


On the top we climbed the cableway with two changes.






Such big difference of temperatures. In the bottom of heat, and also very bright sun is so cold above. It is good that in cafe plaids distributed.
At the top gave tasty hychina with hot herbal tea.
