My new hobby

The last year changed a lot of things in my life. I am surprised to the happening changes, sometimes I do not even believe that it happens all to me. Probably, I not up to the end realize everything. Probably, there has to pass some time. And can do it will not stop any more? But, after all, so far all is pleasant to me. Bad, good - all. I look forward to new and I accept all changes.

Now I want to tell only about one. In my life the new hobby appeared. Perhaps, many of you already guessed what as together with it I participated in one of marathons on the website - cultivation of houseplants. Still a year ago I would even not think that so soon in my house pots with flowers will appear. My own which I should look after only.

So, this idea visited me approximately a year ago. But I long did not decide. Of course, there was also a fear as in our house there were always many plants, but I never took part in their leaving. Thanks to "a country marathon" on the website, I made the firm decision that it is time to begin. Not one thought against did not fly. It is solved. Houses supported me and what I am very grateful for.

The first in the house the cactus-mammillyariya appeared. Houses nicknamed him "firstborn" or "down". The interesting name for a cactus though on it there is no down.



Further there were several shoots of other succulents. Some mother gave me, some I brought home.

By the way, mother my teacher and mentor in this case. She has always many houseplants.

Not only house friends supported my new hobby, but also. The girlfriend presented two flowers - a dragon tree and a chlorophytum.

Later there was a purchase of a litopsis, but he did not get accustomed.

The quantity of plants grew. It pleased me. The first put, coming in the evening home, I watch, how are my "remains" whether it is necessary to water, replace, prop up already grown up, but still fragile trunks.

A month ago we were away on vacation for 2 weeks. Of course, to plants one not to survive for such time. It was necessary to transfer them to temporary residence. Where? Of course, to mother. At that time I already had 13 plants implanted and shoots.



Without seeing a plant two weeks what I had a surprise when I saw on how many they grew up. Pleasures was, as at the child. Home I took away not only them, but also some more given by mother.

The place of the house for my hobby needed to be increased. One window sill and a part of a computer table is already engaged in the room. The place on a table, of course, had to be defended, but house were given. Won.

Just yesterday brought home some more babies. Let's implant.

In plans purchase of several cachepots, change of some grown-up plants and a lot of things still.







At the moment I have already 22 plants. It dread to think where I will place them if all of them are accepted, will grow up and, of course, will demand more empty seat, and our apartment is very small. I hope that further pleasant changes in my life will concern also this part.
