The village of Bagdarin is a regional center of Bauntovsky district of the Republic of Buryatia.


The beginning of creation of Bagdarin does not originate in an extreme antiquity. In 1932 the Bauntovsky native district executive committee made the decision on construction of the new regional center near the White mountain, near the Bagdarin mine. The first houses built at the end of 1932, school - in 1934, a day nursery, the district magician - in 1937, hospital - in 1938.
It is necessary to tell about the name. Bagdarin in translation from Evenki means the White mountain. It and main symbol of our village. It is beautiful at all seasons of the year. When you come back and you see the White mountain, means already at home. There is a belief that if the visitor gets on the White mountain, to it then it will be constantly wanted to return here.






Grow on the White mountain of a pine, and in the district they do not exist anywhere any more, a Labrador tea or on scientific a rhododendron of daurskiya, snowdrops (Turchaninov's lumbago), saranka.

In the regional center Bagdarin about 4.5 thousand inhabitants, and live in the area - a little more than 8 thousand. People of many nationalities live in peace and friendship, but the main it is Russians, Buryats, Evenks. And holidays we celebrate everything together.









Sagaalgan is the Buryat holiday of a meeting of New year according to the lunar calendar, we have an additional day off. It is noted in January - February. Except the cultural program, sports meets - national fight are held, walk (dicing), chess, a raising of weights. Together all are turned in an ekhore-round dance.


In the summer the national Buryat holiday Surkharban is celebrated. Here local talents show the abilities in a vocal and choreography, and athletes compete who is stronger in volleyball, track and field athletics, pulling of a rope, fight.


And an obligatory entertainment for holidays are buuza - poses.

The Evenki sports festival of Gunchakit - Northern all-round. The program includes throwing of the maut, jumps through sledge, throwing of a stone...




And in 2013 spent at us a large-scale Evenki holiday - Bolder that is meant by a meeting, under the name Iken of a sodana. Evenks from areas of the republic, the Amur, Khabarovsk, Krasnoyarsk regions, Sakhalin gathered on Bolder.



There were competitions of vocalists, dancing, Evenki ceremonies, national crafts.




What it is worth looking at us at, so it is a concert where the national Evenki ensemble of a song and the dance "Osikta" and children's exemplary Evenki Hoxingkan ensemble, winners of many republican, All-Russian, interregional, international competitions participate.



In August there take place fairs of the harvest which is grown up on own sites what to achieve not really simply because of sharp and continental climate and permafrost. The frost can be more than 50 degrees, frosts in the winter in the summer when everything is already landed.


It is necessary to visit the museum of peoples of the North of Buryatia of Alexander Georgiyevich Pozdnyakov. There is a hall of the nature of the area, Evenki, devoted to the Great Patriotic War, gold mining, geology. I promise to tell later about the museum and the area if it is interesting to you. The Bauntovsky datsan of Dasha Darzhalin for adherents of Buddhist belief is under construction.

In the center of the village the monument to soldiers fellow countrymen is established

Between Bagdarin and Malovsky who is located in 7 km in 2014 established a monument to zodotodobytchik - the slogger bulldozer.

It is possible to have a rest on the bank of Bagdarinki, the mountain stony river where even at the beginning of June ice can not thaw yet.




We have two schools, three kindergartens, school of arts, hospital, the center of additional education and the Evenki national crafts, and almost all organizations put for the regional centers.
