As I do soap with honey

Soap is not only attribute of purity and hygiene, but also conditioning agent behind skin. Modern soap just blows our mind: it various forms and flowers, and its structure is so various that sometimes it is necessary to address the chemical dictionary for interpretation of this or that ingredient. And here we are also trapped by danger. Often ingredients of soap can be so dangerous that cause accustoming of skin and even burns. I faced it and therefore the last six years carefully I approach the soap choice.
What can soap be dangerous by? Of course chemical components. The majority of components are petrochemical products, and it is not good, the molecule of oil is not compatible to a skin molecule. Perhaps the most dangerous components are alkali, sulfates and glycols. They are capable to cause allergic reactions, dryness, peeling, appearance of comedones, and at long contact and burns. Modern producers the real sly fellows, they add such substances to which skin quickly gets used to soap, and even change of detergent cannot save skin at once. I was in a similar situation, several years used the same soap with artificial structure and as soon as replaced soap, skin began to redden after washing. What soap I would not try, the redness did not disappear until I returned to old soap again. Skin so got used to its structure that it could not even perceive absolutely harmless natural soap. I had to spend a lot of time and money at last to disaccustom the skin to harmful chemistry. I mentioned about a burn which I got, washing the import advertized soap. Week I went with a red face as though just left a bath.

Having sated with many chemical products, as well as many others, I passed to the natural soap called organic or bio. The truth and here I was expected by small disappointment, such soap costs expensive, it not always well foams and a variety of types is small.

So to do? To learn to make soap!

After the small introduction I approached the most important - soap production process at home. This my favourite hobby. I can make soap of any form, the size, color, with various oils, aromas. I choose structure and properties of soap. And process of production of soap brings a lot of pleasures, helps to distract from routine affairs and problems.

I have a lot of recipes checked by me, but I want to share the most favourite - Honey soap!
Since the childhood I adore honey. My grandfather had the apiary and fresh honey always was in our family. Honey is good not only in cookery, but also as cosmetic.

Honey moisturizes the skin, saturates it with vitamins, tightens, does to more dense and renders anti-cellulite effect.
And the great aroma of honey will help to relax and have a rest to your soul and a body.

For preparation of honey soap it is required to you:

Soap base (firm) - 400 g
Honey - 20 g
Glycerin - 4 g
Vitamin E of-2 g
Dogrose oil - 2 g
Propolis - 1 g
Orange oil - 4 g
Serum with hyaluronic acid (Cellex-C) - 2 g

As soap base I advise to choose a natural basis without sodium lauirit sulfate (SLS). If glycerin already is a part of your basis, then exclude it from ingredients.
As serum with hyaluronic acid I prefer Cellex-C Skin Hydration Complex serum.

And now we will start the most interesting. Let's prepare soap!

Kindle soap base on a plate until it completely melts.



Add honey, glycerin, vitamin E, dogrose oil, propolis and serum to the melted basis. Carefully stir mix until its temperature decreases to 60 °C.


Now add oil of orange and mix.



Pour mix in silicone molds and leave for the night for soap hardening.

In the morning you will be waited by wonderful fragrant soap which makes thrifty use of skin and perfectly foams.







And you want to receive soap in the form of bee honeycombs? Then cover a form with soap mix a pimply film so that it stuck. As soon as soap hardens, remove a film. And before you washed in the form of honeycombs.
