Let's open "The book of life"

Though I very long time ago already became adult, I very much like to watch animated films. Besides, many modern animated films are designed by the philosophical sense in the most part for adult audience. They set us thinking on an eternal question – that such good and that such evil. Willy-nilly you begin to pass the life through a prism of history given in the animated film, and you ask a question: "And whether correctly I arrive? Whether there were I too boring? Whether the child who is eager for something new died in me?". On the one hand, after viewing of such animated films it becomes sad, but at the same time you are loaded with a positive: life still proceeds, and in it everything can be changed.

One of such animated films making an indelible impression on me became "The book of life", come out in world cinemas in 2014.

The animated film begins with arrival of teenagers to the museum. Children are extremely dissatisfied: what interesting can be in the museum? But their opinion changes when before them the guide appears. The guide conducts them in the closed Mexican hall and opens before them the huge book – "The book of life" with thousands of stories – with truthful and not really. She decides to tell children about the town of San-Anchel which was once the center of Mexico.


All residents of this town after death got to the world of the dead. This world was divided into two parts – to the Country not forgotten where charming Katrina governed, and to the Country Forgotten where not really honest Shibalba sat. Katrina adored people, believed that all of them are kind and lovely.


Shibalba, on the contrary, considered people angry and artful.


The story by the guide begins from the date of the dead when all residents of the town of San-Ankhel came to graves of the relatives. They sacredly believed that if always to remember the dead, the cheerful afterlife in the Country not forgotten will be provided to them. We meet the little girl Maria and two boys in love with it – Manolo and Joaquin.


This day Katrina and Shibalba decide to argue: if Maria marries Manolo, then Shibalba will not climb to the world of people. If Joaquin becomes Maria's elect, Katrina will give way to Shibalbe. Here we learn that these two governors of the world of the dead – beloved.


So we are involved in improbable "history in the history" when we look at the events not only with own eyes, but also from the teenagers who came to the museum. Together with heroes we move also to the world of the dead. Sometimes you understand that for judgment of this or that moment you lack children's outlook on life.

These or those qualities of people are embodied in all heroes. Maria is very womanly, but at the same time the resolute nature ready itself at any time to engage.


Manolo is a romantic with brave heart.


Joaquin – the uncertain person in the forces who tries to prove himself and others the bravery all the time.


Manolo's mother – the embodiment of wisdom and love.


Despite versatility of characters, Katrina appears the rights: in all people there is a part of good, the person only needs to give chance.

I will not tell all plot of the movie: look better, it is worth it! I will tell only the impressions of seen. In the movie there are a lot of both ridiculous, and touching moments, and still everything is followed by mad amount of music! "The book of life" tells that all our life consists of a set of stories, and each of us leaves the mark in them. It is impossible to forget about those who were once with us, and it is impossible to think that you mean nothing in life. It is impossible to refuse the dream because of any circumstances, it is necessary to trust in the best and to love – relatives, what are you doing, and, of course, life!
