Today watched one more new movie about the Great Patriotic War. It is called "In fog", it is shot according to the story by Vasyl Bykov, and was released in 2012.
This time in the movie the treachery subject is touched.
The main character was played by Vladimir Svirsky, the actor for me absolutely unfamiliar. But he coped with a role perfectly. You trust his hero and you sympathize from the first shot.
Action of the movie happens in Belarus in 1942. Inspectors derail the German train. They are detained, offer one of crew cooperation in exchange for life, but he refuses.
Next day his colleagues are executed, and he is allowed to go home.
But how to live under sidelong glances of fellows villager? They and even own wife suspect him of treachery.
Also guerrillas consider. Therefore they direct two fighters that those carried out their sentence.
And here when death faces to the main character, life gives him one more chance.
How will it use it? What waits for the main character further?
I will not begin to tell about it to keep an intrigue.
I will tell just such end I did not expect at all.
At the VI international Film Festival of A. Tarkovsky "Mirror" the picture "In Fog" is recognized by the best movie.
But for me some moments in the movie seemed too tightened, and there was a wish to glance on a step forward.
