Flashmob "Great Patriotic War on a screen". Movie "Battalions Ask Fire".

Kind all time of day! The subject of the Great Patriotic War touched me, still impressions of a holiday and of memoirs from stories by my grandfather who was at war in the Far East with Japanese are too strong. There is no grandfather, unfortunately, any more with us, but the memory of his impressions does not release me!

Today I want to tell you about rather famous Soviet movie - "Battalions Ask Fire". The speech in the movie besides goes about speeding up by our troops of Dnieper in 1943.

Two battalions were given the order - to force Dnieper and to gain a foothold in the district of the village of Novomikhaylovka, expecting approach of the main forces, and we ask to give the command of "fire" together to strike the opponent. Such is there was a plan of command, but events were developed in a different way.

Command changes plans and recalls battalions, planning to connect them to other division. The battalions which already engaged had to remain on the place and continue the attack. Several times commanders Eroshin (Vyacheslav Baranov) and Ermakov (Alexander Zbruyev) "ask fire", but the help does not come. Then the main forces lose touch with them. Germans surround the Soviet soldiers, and it seems that death is already inevitable.

The lieutenant Kondratyev (Alexander Galibin) asks for permission of command to open fire at old coordinates though understands that he can get on the. But there is no other way out. Ermakov for a raising of fighting spirit of soldiers before fight orders to tell that a division already on the way, and the help is close. I will not retell all movie, watch it better! I will tell only that Ermakov by miracle with small group of soldiers escapes and accuses the commander of a division Iverzev of all heavy. He is arrested, but for tribunal after all not given. Dnieper is successfully forced.







Also Igor Sklyar, Oleg Efremov, Nikolay Karachentsov, Alexander Pankratov-Cherny, Borislav Brondukov acted in the movie.
