Concealer: main rules

The masking pencil or cream can save in many situations. But also can bring if it is wrong to them to use. A concealer – rather new product in the market, and every year it is modified therefore mistakes at its application still enough. I suggest to understand all innovations and receptions.

Rule of a concealer No. 1. Skin, but not light are lighter!

Understanding that the concealer can cover dark specks and shadows under the eyes, many choose light products. But in it one of the main mistakes: too light product does not mask, and on the contrary draws attention to itself.

Fortunately, formulas of concealers of 2015 become less bright and light. Sometimes it is enough to have a concealer of tone of skin and with reflecting particles. And if earlier makeup artists advised to get concealers on 1 and even 2 tones are lighter than your skin, then now there is other council: buy a novelty which has a warm peach shade and only on half-tone it is easier, than skin.

Rule of a concealer No. 2. Fix!

Formulas of concealers which are issued recently, - quite dense, cover. And it forces many to rely completely on them, thinking that so dense texture will keep not movably. However it is some deception.

Surely fix a concealer – so it will hold on longer and "will not float". And it is the simplest to make it by means of an easy powdery covering. Take a fluffy brush and powder a concealer speck, but do not use for this purpose sponges, do not rub the place where masking is put!

Rule of a concealer No. 5. Do not forget about volume.

Council concerns all convex imperfections. Do not forget that they cast the falling shadows on the person. Therefore just to disguise the center of a heat-spot insufficiently. Highlight also small space under a heat-spot or a convex birthmark. Then the falling shadow will be lighter and masking will be more successful.

It is very big dispute: when to put a concealer - to foundation or later? Makeup artists often show master classes in which apply the proofreader to foundation. But, probably, their skill is enough that to make it. In our case, the layer of liquid tone means can grease all efforts on masking only.

But even he uses brushes for concealers. Fingers it is only possible to beat slightly means, and to put only with a brush or a stack.
