Life in RUMBA style...

Ted Lapidus the Jewish boy from family of the Russian emigrants who conquered the world in the 60th years of last century, the ideas of a unisex with a crape of "the Russian mysterious soul". Ted studied at Tokyo at Technical school, then returned to France to study in the capital as the physician, but... having soon changed the decision, began to work as the tailor in "the Paris Club". Soon his friend Charles Aznavour acquainted him with the recognized master of fashion Christian Dior and Ted went over a training in the well-known Fashion house Dior with success.
But, to Lapidus it became close and he opened own studio, and won reputation of the great cutter, and already at the beginning of the 60th opened cutting courses which had incredible success in Tokyo. In 1963 Ted Lapidus becomes the member of the Parisian syndicate of haute couture and after Pierre Cardin begins to cooperate with department stores, having signed the contract with La Belle Jardiniere for release of collections of outer garments.
Ted was adored by John Lennon and even in the 69th year, Ted Lapidus releases the limited collection of Bag One bags with Lennon's autograph. Also created a white suit in which the musician is depicted on a cover of an album The Beatles, Abbey Road for John.
Why, I remembered once well-known Ted Lapidus brand.?? Just found in a jungle wardrobe a scarf from Ted Lapidus, and not so long ago bought Rumba perfume.
The aroma was created in 1989 by Jean Claude Elena, there are also a lot of confusions... because Cristobal Balenciaga also has perfume with the name of the same name which even on a look and a smell was identical the Point from Lapidus...
