Gold coin in the form of a bottle of MISS DIOR perfume

Dior and Monnaie de Paris for the first time combined the efforts for creation of the exclusive collection of coins devoted to the eternal principles of design of spirits of Miss Dior.


This prestigious union pays a tribute of respect to experiment of the oldest French institution on production of coins and also flower aroma and a beautiful bottle of the first aroma of Christian Dior which is an absolute icon of femininity of Dior. The Parisian mint (Monnaie de Paris) is founded in 864, throughout twelve centuries helps to carry on tradition of the art professions connected with stamping of precious metals.

Today the richness of his unique skill meets the world of Miss Dior, the real icon of the house of Avenue Montaigne. In the spirit of exclusive skill, feeling of the smallest details and the highest standards both houses decided to note roses which shine in Miss Dior heart and also eternally modern silhouette of its bottle which "is cut out as a suit".


Joaquin Jiménez, the chief engraver and the director of art creativity of Monnaie de Paris, developed the impressive coin weighing 2 kg from pure gold for the first time combining technology of melting and stamping. He shows easily recognizable silhouette of a bottle Miss Dior and also beats favourite design codes of the Dior brand: a dagger bow, a cage "goose pads" and abundance of thinly turned roses from pink gold. It is exclusive a product, is placed in a case in the form of a chest haute couture, is followed by the certificate of the authenticity and an original lithograph signed by the artist Xavier Kasalta.

The gold coin weighing 2 kg having the form of a cult bottle Miss Dior in the single copy, will be sold at the Maison Sotheby's auction on March 2, 2022 in Paris.


In the same design of 18 round coins weighing 1 kg everyone were rapped out from pure gold with emphasis on an engraving, polishing and grinding. Each coin which is also placed in a chest haute couture is followed by the certificate of authenticity and also Miss Dior bottle with the same number, as a coin.

Also the collection consisting of coins from 10 to 500 euros and a medal which is rapped out from yellow, pink gold and silver was created. The coins decorated with a pattern on both parties, they also pay a tribute to design of eternally modern bottle of Miss Dior. Two coins in the form of a symbolical bow of Miss Dior supplement a collection.


Part of sales proceeds will go to Fleurs D'Exception du Pays de Grasse, the Part from sale will be transferred to association "exclusive flowers of the country of Grass".
