The first melamine sponges were strong, it was possible to cut off absolutely on a small piece and lasted for a long time. Now sponges do by softer and they are erased just instantly. And as the melamine sponge is more expensive, than usual, and it is worth applying it only to such places where usual means do not cope. In that case the means spent for purchase (not one melamine sponge can be necessary) will be justified. And it is better to spend time saved on cleaning for more pleasant occupations.
