The modeling Taft Perfect Flex powder-wax: the miracle did not occur

This product of firm Shvartskopf drew my attention long ago. Often repeating TV advertizing telling about the revolutionary invention of new means of laying – weightless powder-wax, seemed very plausible.
Hair at me long, but rather thin and therefore it is not so simple to pick up means for laying. Skins and mousses make hair similar to straw, from gels the head of hear so is confused and intertwines that then it is necessary to comb hair with tears, and from varnish hair just instantly become dirty. And here powder-wax which promises flexible laying without weighting and also unreal volume. Aurally it seemed that it is simply created for me. I long could not find this means, it simply did not catch sight to me in cosmetic shops. And here, at last, I happened to get it. Nearly a month I tried to get the hang to it, and here what conclusions drew.
Packing

To begin the story about this styling, I think, costs from the description of packing. The bottle with powder-wax is placed in a small cardboard box with a window. You, of course, can see it on a photo and think that it is just stylish packing. But only, when you get a jar with means, you understand why packing provides this box. Yes because so the goods look more volume. A jar with powder-wax very small. And at a rasmmotreniye on light it is filled no more than on a third. The volume of the powder-wax of only 10 grams (net weight means). On packing it is specified that powder is enough for 30 applications. But, frankly speaking, in process of use of this means, I began to doubt it strongly. But we still will return to it.
Powder as I already also spoke, is in a jar on which the plastic stopper with holes is provided (as do, for example, in talc or powders). To catch powder on a hand, it is possible just having stirred up and having turned a jar. No device for more portion dispensing is provided. However, it is, of course, and does not cause any difficulties. Both on a box, and on a jar you will be able to find councils for laying by means of this powder-wax.
Goods cost quite democratic. 136 Russian rubles or are a little more 2 US dollars.
Smell and texture of means
Aroma at the modeling powder-wax rather neutral (is closer to sweet), and, I would tell, almost inaudible. If you already used other means which are released under a trademark of Taffetas, then this smell will seem to you familiar.

Well and, of course, the most curious in this means is texture. When powder turns out at you on a hand, by sight it as if usual talc – white and friable. But, when you begin to pound it, its look instantly changes. It really turns into transparent wax. Feelings for hands as it seemed to me, not the most pleasant. Fingers seem sticky, a word you dipped them into honey. It seems that when you begin to form a hairstyle, hair simply will begin to stick to hair. But this impression is deceptive.
Drawing and modeling
And really to work with powder-wax it appears surprisingly pleasantly. When you begin to apply means on dry roots of hair, there is some very smooth coupling of wax and hair. At the same time it seems that hair begin to rise at roots. It should be noted that means on hair is felt, but at the same time hair easily comb hair. That is, there is no feeling of a skleennost, confusion.
As for the laying then certain nuances, of course, are. The producer to us claims that powder-wax equally well will be suitable for modeling of both short, and long hair. To check this fact, I decided to try to make laying not only myself, but also on short hair of my mother. To apply powder on short hair and to distribute it on all length, of course, much more simply. On long hair generally powder-wax appears at roots. To apply it on all hair it is necessary to use a half of a jar. And besides if not only creation of radical volume, but also modeling of a hairstyle is your purpose, then this means unambiguously will not be suitable for long hair. For some reason hair (not at roots, and on all length) do not become more obediently when drawing means, and are not fixed by it at all. I will repeat, it when business touches long hair. Laying of a short hairstyle turned out rather simple. Powder-wax envelops a hair, and it becomes flexible and elastic. Then hands or a hairbrush it can give the necessary form and volume. Here I would like to return to a subject of packing and a consumption of powder again. On a jar the producer says that means is economic in use. But I, alas, cannot agree with it. For creation of the simplest laying on short hair I needed to turn not less than 6-7 times a jar with powder-wax. And for giving of volume to long hair – and at all time 12.
Firmness of laying
On packing advise us to fix the laying created by means of powder-wax by hairspray. And it is valid not to do without it. Because powder-wax for a long time is not able to set result, though it is considered superstrong fixing. I tried not to use varnish. But on long hair already in half an hour the effect of increase in volume disappeared. Even if it is constant to stir up hair at roots, the effect for a long time does not last. When using varnish it is possible to pass with rather fixed laying the whole day. In principle it belongs also to short hair.
It is necessary to tell that means is quite easily washed away from hair. And any sharply negative impact on health of hair, nearly a month of use later, I did not notice.
Summing up, it would be desirable to pay attention to the next moments. The modeling powder-wax can be hardly used as independent means for laying. Only in a tandem with hairspray. Otherwise the effect is very short-lived. It is worth resolving an issue of its acquisition, proceeding from your needs. It well will be suitable for short hair both for creation of volume, and for modeling of a hairstyle. As for long hair, then only for volume. As I did not twist it within a month, and could not create more or less full laying. And especially nothing similar on what shows us Heidi Klum on packing. Goods quite good, but from it you should not wait for miracles (unless except transformation of powder into wax).
In principle ratio price quality acceptable. And I do not regret that I satisfied the curiosity and tried this means. Whether I will buy powder-wax again? It is very improbable.
