In general thread good. Convenient packing which when turning the top lid opens/is closed - it is hygienic. Thread comes off since there is special adaptation for this purpose - to hook and "cut off" it (the last photo). It with mint smack that is pleasant. Cleans well, but it is sometimes untwisted since is 2 twisted threads - usual waxed white and that silver.
