I trust the Mac brand because the famous makeup artists use it, and it is always present at Fashion weeks. Therefore bought this brush. First of all, because wanted to have some more budgetary alternative well-known Tach Eklat. If the brush from YSL costs about 3.5 thousand rubles, then almost same from Mac – 1900 rubles. The difference small is. It is necessary to find out as far as this cheaper highlighter is good (though it is hardly cheap, just in comparison with YSL cheap). Or it is bad?
Packing – quite standard for all products of Mac. A black tuba, with information minimum. It is typical for a brand. I still have ink from Mac and gloss, and all of them "in black". The highlighter can even be mixed with ink, they are absolutely similar. But I already got used to distinguish it, it shorter, than ink and more podgy.

I regret that did not photograph a brush before application. It was such clean, snow-white. But quickly became such as now. Color was absorbed, not to reach whiteness of bristles any more.
The brush works as well as at Tach Eklat – the product arrives on it when pressing a brush. If what leaves it is, insufficiently, necessary to turn the handle at the basis, and then means will begin to flow more plentifully. Nothing superfluous, a drop of such volume what is necessary that the brush "drew".
Texture of a concealer – liquid, thin. It is not an oil or fat concealer to block spots and pimples. It is a highlighter. It strongly moisturizes the skin, and very easily lays down on the surface of a face. It is very similar to drawing by watercolor paints – is easy, transparent, watery.
Means is easily absorbed in skin, it can and be layered. However, at good skin of it it will not be required. Especially, it is not masking pencil and highlighting.
Shade, which at me – a little pinkish. Perfectly highlights. But if to compare to YSL highlighter, then at the second the luminescence is more, and clarification slightly more intensively. Still Mac more transparent. It does not block at all, only highlights, consider it. If you need to get rid of dark circles – that at first it is necessary to use a concealer, and only then to highlight. Not cover means.
There lasts highlighting effect for all day, it is not necessary to correct.
I cannot especially carp at this highlighter, I use it with success. But there are small shortcomings. For example, the brush handle – constantly dirty, in the means remains. The highlighter accumulates on a brush rim, gets into chinks, remains in a lid. Very quickly all becomes a little dirty. How to keep this brush clean – I did not understand. Probably, it is necessary just to use and buy quickly it new to secure itself against a big congestion of microbes.
Sometimes I clean a brush by means of a napkin, but color does not leave, and all the same on it there have to be both skin fats, and other pollution … It is necessary to use, of course, at ideally cleaned face. If cream is applied – that the brush absorbs all these fats. On it any showered cosmetics therefore at first - a highlighter, and then – all other make-up also sticks.
I recommend this product to those who only begin the acquaintance to highlighters. It is more transparent, and you will understand at once how to use it. If the layer seems to you strong – just shade fingers, and the effect will become hardly noticeable.
