It is useful to know maternal psychotypes not only to understand character of the mother, but also to give reference points of psychologically correct maternal behavior to girls and women who are going to become mothers or already have children.

The offered system of individual maternal installations and behavioural stereotypes will help you to understand a difference between psychological healthy, toxic and problem, but not toxic mothers. I describe psychotypes of mothers on the basis of several hundred stories from personal sources: the closed groups in social networks, comments on YouTube under my videos, personal correspondence and, of course, consultations.

I was several criteria the basis for classification:

- diagnostic markers of frustration of the identity of Cluster B (antisocial, hysterical, narcissistic and boundary frustration of the personality);

- key manifestations of other frustration (on DSM-5);

- behavior of mother in the relations with the child;

- mother's attitude towards the child: loves, does not love, unclear;

- pluses and minuses for the child.

Psychotypes of mothers

In the drawing in the center — four stable and predictable in the behavior of psychotype: Mother Sun, Mama-Zemlya, Mama-Zvezda and Mother Loong. From them two psychotypes — loving, warm, resource (The earth and the Sun) and two — unloving, detached, cold (A star and the Moon). Besides, I allocate four psychotypes which are characterized by instability, unpredictability and existence of stubborn psychological or even mental problems. The strategy of behavior with them very different — from regular communication, close contact and confidential communications with respect for personal borders of each other before full self-isolation and the maximum distancing.

To some mothers there is a resource power exchange and psychologically healthy relations. Their children grow up happy people, in time begin to live independently, tearing off an umbilical cord of power communication, all life is supported by warm, confidential and sincerely close relations. Mother Sun and Mama-Zemlya always remain the authoritative, wise, supporting parents for the children.

Mother Sun

Divine, infinitely resource, delightful, full energy mother. She loves, shines and heats. Mama-Zemlya

Very resource, reliable, loving, stable, mother support. Her love — a verb. A minimum of words and a maximum of heat, support and care since the early childhood and to an extreme old age. Try not to compete with Mamoy-Zvezdoy, find the way and be engaged in what you want, even contrary to the maternal pressure and control.
