We long waited for summer, but it did not please us. Usually in June warmly, but there is no heat, And this year - a scorching heat from the first days! In the afternoon - 40 degrees, at night - 29 degrees! After cold at once such tin! And only 1 rain expected to fall within 15 minutes! And Vodokanal sent SMS about increase in a tariff if the sum for water exceeds 590 rubles! We have, apparently, drought!

There is a playful riddle about the summer resident: "Who is it? The back is black, a stomach - white, eyes - goggle!" It - not about us! All sit on houses under conditioners, leave in the evening only the kitchen garden is watered. It is good that I though brought order to the yard in cold May! The grass, of course, new grew, and I already do not tear it! Itself will dry up!

The sharp heat led to the fact that sweet cherry and early cherry already departed. My tree of early cherry this year not really richly in a harvest, probably, frosts affected. And winds so frayed branches that under a tree many unripe cherries are filled. But on food and daily compotes collected every day. Here such quantity in day turned out:

There will be a lot of cherry plum, but not the fact that we will manage to eat it: trees grow on the street!. Today some quirky maiden tore up directly green fruits from a tree. I opened a window and told: "Girl! Cherry plum still green!" It: "And I love green cherry plum!" I: "So what problems! Put and grow up!" So when cherry plum begins to ripen, impudent people will come to 4 mornings and to collect!

Strawberry practically departed. There are bushes of late grades, but it because of a heat badly grows, on olnets some berries get burns!
We eat it very actively. Here the most successful collecting was - 2 kg.

Cooked strawberry jam - 2 jars. Will not be much any more, I collect 1 kg and we eat during the day.

Apricots will keep up soon. The normal harvest will be. From them I will cook jam and compotes!

There are no plums from the word "absolutely". Apples will be only on 1 yablonka. Not apple year! Pears will be, but - not soon. Every year we have them. Not for nothing the old name of the city was Aleksandrovsk-Grushevsk! In honor of Alexander II it was called as it was based in the period of his board. the monument to this tsar before an entrance to the university in which I taught was a few years ago established.

In a garden huge dandelions, more precisely, than an oduvana appeared! I their pulled out everything, but some managed to scatter so next year will be!

Except a celandine, in a garden lilies blossomed. They were planted still by my mother-in-law who died in 1987. Hardy florets!
