Quest: "Gel polish against usual varnishes. Pluses and minuses"

I think that on our website there is no lady who would not know about existence as usual nail varnishes, and about gel polishes. I assume that there are those which never tried a covering of nails gel polish, but it is sure that there are no those who never varnish painted nails. I tested both that and other way and I can tell with full confidence that my choice - gel polish.

The first and greatest advantage gel - a varnish covering is long duration of carrying: on my nails the covering keeps at least two weeks. Then in process of growth of nails, gel polish is removed and looks already not esthetically. But two weeks I surely go with a beautiful marigold. What you will not tell about usual varnishes. Here, for example, this extreme manicure for the second day socks peeled off at the edges, chips even appeared while it was covered with the fixing top, and of course it had to be removed.


The second plus - speed of drawing and an opportunity at once to correct flaws in manicure. As gel polish dries only in a special lamp, but not on air, that is an opportunity quickly and without problems to correct flowing of means under or on a cuticle, or to properly level a covering if suddenly put it not exactly.

The third plus - instant drying gel - a varnish covering. In the UF-lamp it dries in 2-3 minutes, and in a LED lamp the account goes on seconds: 30-90 at most. And after drying it is already possible not to be afraid for quality of manicure at all. It with usual varnishes is possible even in an hour accidentally to spoil a covering if it is several layers, or varnish dense. And then several hours of work just to nothing.


The fourth plus - strengthening of nails, an opportunity to grow desirable length. Because of multiple layers of drawing, the nail plate is stronger and nails grow without chips, under protection. In comparison with usual varnish coverings when even the minimum physical impact can lead to breakage of a nail, or to emergence of so-called catches.

Before the manicurist advised to alternate varnish and gel polish that nails "had a rest". Was considered that gel - a varnish covering negatively influences a nail plate. However with the advent of better materials nails breathe and rest any more is not required to them. I note it and on the nails. Moreover, even if I need to varnish nails, then I all the same at first put a bonder, base and the fixing top. Well I dry everything, I remove a sticky layer, and only then I apply varnish.


The fifth plus at me came to light absolutely accidentally: - a varnish covering it is very convenient to stemping to study as gel. As prints can be not qualitative, and very often it is necessary to erase the turned-out drawing, about usual varnishes out of the question, at least at me. Probably I am not so obsessed with coloring of a marigold to do and remake several times. But it is possible to apply on gel polish as is wished much and to erase, and again to put...


Here such most obvious advantages gel - a varnish covering against usual varnishes at me came to light. And now I will mention about small minuses.

The most obvious minus: initial costs of the necessary equipment (lamp) and means for manicure (liquid for degreasing of nails, for removal of a sticky layer, a bonder, base, a top) and gel polishes. Which, by the way, are more expensive than usual varnishes, even the cheapest of them.

Whereas the covering of nails usual varnish requires only availability of varnish, and base with a top at will.


Following not essential to me, but the available minus: the range of varnishes is much richer and more various, than gel polishes. However I have enough of what is. And if the necessary color is not, then I can always cover with usual varnish also.

One more small minus: in two weeks the design can bother. But I and here for myself found a way out: I cover a slider design not gel - the varnish top and usual fixing which I use for usual varnishes. And after a week of carrying, just I erase an old slider and I apply new design on a white background.


Finishing article, I once again confirm that in gel - a varnish covering for me there are more pluses, than shortcomings.
