Today in the review it will be a question of means for the volume of hair. Unfortunately, the nature did not award me with a thick magnificent hair. They at me thin, without volume and absolutely direct. Hair very badly hold laying, especially the wave (twisted on the curling iron curls are untwisted within one and a half hours even if to record them varnish). Usually for volume I set hair on a brashing with the hair dryer or I do a pile. With a pile volume of course keeps longer, but as far as I know, such way strongly injures hair. Therefore I always am in search of some means capable quickly and easily to give volume to hair, without injuring them.
And here one of my last acquisitions - Taft powder for laying "the Instant Volume".
Jar of powder of very bright light green color, it should be noticed in shop. It is packed into a cardboard box on which Heidi Klum with a smart head of hear is represented. And, buying this powder, I hoped though be one step away to become closer to volume laying.
Under a cover powder has a crosswise batcher (just small holes), it is similar to the batcher of children's powder.
The jar with powder very small, but I did not expect in any way that its volume only 10 grams. Though in the instruction it is told that it has to be enough up to 50 applications, it turns out on once 0.2 gr. It is not enough even for my fine hair so about any 50 applications out of the question.
But it is very convenient to take it with itself. In a bag does not take a lot of place, and gives the chance to correct a hairstyle outdoors.
Powder represents powder of white color. The grinding is so small that if to apply a little powder on hands and to pound between fingers, then it instantly disappears. Texture at it very silky and even if it is possible so to speak, a little slippery. Powder has no smell at all.
Structure
From structure I understood that powder generally consists of water and oxide of silicon. Oxide of silicon absorbs in itself fat and sweat from skin and hair and also gives smoothness and dullness. All other ingredients remained for me unfamiliar.
From cosmetics for volume I used only skins and shampoos. And if skins quite suited me, then shampoos added volume due to deep clarification and disclosure of scales of hair. As I am not an owner of an oily hair, they awfully dried to me length and it was more similar not to volume, and to a dandelion. Besides the overdried hair became very fragile.
So when I saw Instant Volume powder, without deliberating bought it.
Hair are washed simply up by shampoo + balm.
Powder can be applied in two ways: the first - to fill it in a palm and to apply with hands on dry hair, - to apply the second from a jar on roots of hair at once (at the same time it has to be created "ekstraobjyom" at roots).
The first way did not suit me because it is terribly inconvenient to apply with palms this powder on hair and the second way did not get accustomed. Just putting means from a jar at once, it is not convenient to dose it, it is possible to fill easily more, than it is necessary.
Therefore I apply powder on finger-tips, and then accurately I dip hands into hair, kind of shaking up them.
Now about result. Applied powder on hair.
I do not know whether it is noticeable on a photo, but volume really appeared, the truth not "extra", but is quite decent. Right after drawing the rigidity of hair is felt. Feeling as though on hair the pile is made and it is filled in with varnish.
Volume begins to leave my hair in an hour, but that to return it, rather simply to shake up hair hands without repeated addition of powder.
One more plus is that it is not visible at all, especially it is relevant for dark hair. Just I had one dry shampoo after which there was a full feeling that the head sprinkled with flour. By the way, Taft powder dries hair a little and can quite replace dry shampoo.
From minuses - hair from powder begin to be electrified strongly and volume after all keeps not for long.
Long thought what mark to give it, let there will be 4. This lovely bagatelle gives volume and the price not expensive.
