I faced products of the Body Shop company more than once: there were gels, shampoos, cream. But, looking in brand stores of the company, I was never interested in so-called "oil" products (oils for cuticles, body oils, hand oils and so forth). It seemed to me that these means for my combined skin will become search.
But after all I, nevertheless, had to get acquainted with similar products of Body Shop. It fell of me into hands as a gift and in the form of body oil with my most beloved aroma of a coco. Well how here to resist?

I like design of packings of Body Shop. I consider it laconic, stylish and causing trust to a product. A jar of my gift – small (50 ml), round, dark chocolate color with a white signature inscription against the background of the image of a fleecy surface of coconut. On weight (48gr) it is almost imperceptible, it is convenient to take it with itself in trips. By the way, in assortment of a brand jars of oil and 200 ml meet.
On a reverse side of packing the double information sticker is attached. As means was bought at the airport of Thailand (and it is made in the same country), everything was written in 14 languages except Russian. It was necessary to understand fully.
Officially means is translated as "Coconut body oil", and in the same line terrible flaunts: "It is not suitable for consumption". Well it is clear that in food. However everything looks a little ironically and ambiguously. It was possible to tell slightly below about it, but not near the name. Probably, there were many attempts to check the return.

But, having opened a jar, I understood in what business: the amazing saturated, strong, not caustic, not luscious, natural, coconut aroma at once stupefies. It perfectly it is also quite long keeps on a body. And, really, I caught myself on a thought more than once that wants to try this oil to be smeared on a toast. However decided not to risk, and it is better to study structure more seriously.

The Body Shop company is famous for the diligence in every possible way to avoid artificial components. Key ingredients of this means: water, a cyclopentasiloxane (cyclopentasiloxane is a kind of silicone), glycerin and various oils (cocoa, a coco, a Brazil nut, sunflower, shi). Here and the first disappointment! How does it in means a priori not allowing in the composition of harmful substances (as it is stated by the company) on the third place appear silicone? Of course, the mass of cosmetics supports him, but a useful component him to call difficult. Especially attentively it is worth treating this chemical term that who has bronchial asthma, it is inclined to an allergy, to inflammation of eyes as silicones have property to irritate our mucous.

Having a little been upset, I nevertheless continued acquaintance. Having opened a jar that could not be made, thanks to the convenient turning-off cover, I found very dense, dense, fat contents of a shade of baked milk. To the touch means reminds usual butter. When drawing it is spent very economically: for example, on one brush it is enough to take one butter layer on a finger phalanx half.

Consistence not only dense, not fluid, but very fat: after drawing on hands and on fingers there is not an especially pleasant feeling of oiliness for a long time. Though in the description of means it is specified that it is suitable for normal and dry skin. I would emphasize the last. Or it is better to get it during the periods, especially painful for skin: in the winter, in the period of avitaminosis and so forth.

The absorbed properties of oil are quite good. It is almost instantly absorbed by skin, sating, feeding and moistening it. If yet not the long feeling of fat content – would be just magnificent!

After all I will recommend it. But, to avoid excess disappointments, you should not be bought by a massive jar at once – take for a start small packing of oil of 50 ml (near 700-800rub.) also try to get acquainted with it – and suddenly make friends?
