I have the Russian version. It would be interesting to compare that Ftorodent who was a few years ago, in the 1980th years, and today's paste. But it, unfortunately, it is difficult to make. But it is possible to compare Russian and Belarusian Ftorodent at least visually.
Here a photo from the websites of producers. At the left – Belarusian Ftorodent from the Modum company, on the right – Russian from Vilsengroup.

Belarusian resembles that Ftorodent from the childhood obviously more.
But the main thing – not appearance, but contents. Therefore we will not carp at packing. Let's look at structure.
Oops, and where fluorine?
So, what we have as a part of paste:
Aqua, Chalk, Silica, PEG-400, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Aroma, Cellulose Gum, Sodium Methylparaben, Sodium Saccharin, 2-Bromo-2-Nitropropane-1.3-diol, CI 16185
Not the long list. Studied it both so, and so, but did not find fluorine. Neither as a part of it is not present, nor on packing there are no additions about availability of fluorine. It is interesting then why paste is called "Ftorodent"?.
By the way, looked at the Belarusian Ftorodent's list (on the website of the producer) – there is available monoftorfosfat sodium (sodium monofluorophosphate), it is ingredient of the fluorinated pastes.
You will tell that the fluorinated paste – not always a thing good. I know it, fluorine as a part of paste is shown not all. But I looked for fluorinated paste, to me the stomatologist advised to clean month paste with fluorine as enamel became thinner. Also it is a pity that the producer so impudently deceived me. Eh, why to appropriate to the products the name "Ftorodent"? – I address the Russian Ftorodent's producer, Vilsengroup.
Is as a part of several unpleasant preservatives. For example, methylparaben. For children it would obviously not be desirable to have this ingredient, they can swallow paste.

Paste for all family, but …
It is undesirable to application by women, and especially pregnant. This conclusion can be drawn as in structure there is not the so best preservative - 2-Bromo-2-Nitropropane-1.3-diol (other name – bronopol). It appears, such substance causes causes accumulation of ingredients which can provoke a mutation of genes. And it means that the woman can become the carrier of such genes and transfer bad genes to future generations. In as! Therefore bronopol only those women who were above childbearing age can use, and it is absolutely inadmissible for pregnant women. In general, on the Internet there are a lot of discussions of various ingredients and their impact on pregnancy now. And I understood that it is the best of all to pass into this period to the most natural compositions of cosmetics and means of hygiene. It is not sure, as excellent Kolgate is absolutely safe. Therefore it is better not to risk.
For the rest, paste is similar to family – the large volume (170 grams), a convenient lid, high-quality packing.

However, It is necessary to tell that the opening was not hermetically closed by a foil, not really it is good, I cannot be sure whether discovered paste in shop. It would not be desirable it.
Action
The smell at paste strong, is similar to what the strong refreshing and bleaching pastes have, such as Kolgate or Blend-a-Med. White color of paste was pleasant to me too. It is somehow psychologically easier to brush teeth white paste, than green or blue because white is associated with white enamel of teeth.
Paste not bad foams. Good consistence, resistant aroma. Gums do not bleed and are not irritated. But even for it it is a pity for 47 rubles. For this money it is possible to find more environmentally friendly structure, friendly both to the nature and to the person, without parabens and with fluorine.
