The most important for me in this tonic is an opportunity to apply on eyelids and around eyes! I do not know other tonic which can be used on eyes. Probably, they are, only I did not find. There is no reaction from application on centuries, except positive impressions. Usually after washing skin dry, after tonic of this dryness on centuries is not present. Once there was an incident - I so hurried somewhere that forgot to apply cream for a century! For me it is an unknown case, to me it is uncomfortable without moistening under eyes. But I did not feel tightness and just forgot.
On a bottle from a reverse side there is information on what is not present in this means, are undesirable chemical ingredients which can negatively influence skin and health in general. The brand of Caudalie does not use them. There is in means and no phenoxyethanol which surely is present even at many organic brands.
In conclusion would like to compare this tonic to 2 others which I use at present - in the winter, at air temperatures about +17-20' and rather low humidity of air (to 50%). We have a sea climate, there is no heating in the house therefore air does not dry skin.
Tonic from Thayers and tonic from Andalou naturals: both moisturize my skin, than Caudalie better. Andalou dries on skin longer, but feelings from all 3 pleasant. Calm skin perfectly! Andalou has no phenoxyethanol in structure, Thayers has.
At the cost of the most expensive Andalou, but also richest on structure, the mass of antioxidants.
Caudalie has laconic structure. Beta-glucan is pleasant to me in cosmetics, it helps skin to restore a natural barrier.
