First, I found read, more precisely, that the deodorant alumstone which I so extolled in the article contains aluminum salts too. So all this advertizing promotion about safe antiperspirants does not make any sense. As Wikipedia "In the mineralogical relation alumstone says represents the main sulfate of aluminum and potassium". In more detail on this subject it is possible to find information without problems, having spent a few time in Google. My second grief of this summer consists that at me found a tumor in a breast, thank God, good-quality which I had to delete during operation. Of course, I was frightened. And forever to close for itself the question "Whether I Harm Myself, Buying an Antiperspirant with Aluminium Salts?", I just decided not to do more than it. I found the list of deodorants without aluminum salts in the Internet (to whom interesting, I will send a reference). Those there were several tens. And, of course (who would doubt), among them there is my favourite brand of organic cosmetics of Weleda.
Once again about aluminum salts
Why we will not find aluminum salts in organic cosmetics? History of this question such is. Doctor Exley and his team carried out a biopsy at seventeen women having breast cancer and found out that in the top area of a breast in an armpit at them the high content of compounds of aluminum. In 2005 there was a scientific article specifying that aluminum badly influences functions of receptors of MCF7 estrogen of a mammary gland that can cause cancer. When using antiperspirants with aluminum salts skin absorbs this substance. Researches showed that 4 years of refusal of antiperspirants with aluminum that the level of this substance in an oragnizm returned to normal are necessary.
So, with salts of aluminum it is worth refusing antiperspirants because, first, their use increases risk of a breast cancer. And the quantity of cases with this disease strongly grew that some also connect with universal use of antiperspirants. Secondly, antiperspirants block work of sweat glands (though on some I saw the instruction that do not block though contain aluminum). It prevents an organism to be cleaned. Thirdly, aluminum destroys estrogen that leads to deterioration in a condition of skin, a hair, to wrinkles, a depression, violations of work of heart, a water imbalance, adjournment of salts, etc. At last, the increased contents in an organism of aluminum is connected with risk of Alzheimer's disease.
Deodorant of Weleda – without aluminum
The products of Weleda are well familiar to me because I use it not the first year. Of course, over time I will want to try also other deodorants without aluminum salts, but Weleda is the quality mark, a brand which yet never disappointed me. At Weleda I chose a deodorant with a sage.
Volume
The deodorant of Weleda is presented in glass. It is known that it is the best material for storage something. Glass serves as natural "preservative". Deodorant volume – 100 ml. Earlier somehow I used a citrus deodorant Weleda of 30 ml. Now decided to stock up for longer term. Especially as my alumstone safely departed to a wastebasket.
The price for the volume of 100 ml "does not bite" - 550-700 rubles. We remember that generally the volume of deodorants – 50 ml.
Structure
So, what the deodorant is? These are 100% a natural product which vegetable formula prevents reproduction of bacteria and a smell of sweat. Pores at the same time are not clogged up. Transparent deodorant. Does not leave any marks on clothes.
- Veledovsky does not contain a deodorant not only salts of aluminum, but also phthalates and parabens.
- In it there are no synthetic fragrances, dyes, aromatic substances of animal origin.
- Works only thanks to natural components. There is no "chemistry" in a deodorant.
In it there is an alcohol, but this alcohol (ethanol) is received from vegetable natural raw materials. It is not necessary to be afraid of such alcohol in cosmetics. Alcohol in this case is used as preservative. Plus it works in accuracy, as in tinctures here. That is spirit solution allows "to get" from plants useful substances from plants. Such ethanol is resolved when using in organic cosmetics by the leading ecoorganizations. And Weleda uses these properties of ethanol too.
Efficiency
At a deodorant bright grass smell. In it notes of rosemary and a thyme are guessed. Aroma a little spicy, but not luscious.
Of course, concerns all, such deodorant is how effective. The first that wants to be told, is what in need of it can be applied repeatedly. Took a shower – it is possible to reuse fearlessly, without being afraid that it will do harm.
The second – of course, it does not work 24 hours as an antiperspirant. It would be strange to expect it from it. And absolutely it is unhealthy if sweat glands are blocked for day. In general it removes a sweat smell. Living in Egypt, I take a shower several times a day. And there is quite enough deodorant Weleda to hold on to next time. I want to note also that "veledovsky" smells in itself expressive – a citrus, the sage and a rose – and are picked very successfully up. I did not try a rose yet. I had a citrus last year. Now I have a sage.
