Today my review is devoted to means without which it is simply impossible to do. It is toothpaste. Yes not simple, and with the loud name "Maximum Protection against Caries Double Mint" from Colgate.
Appearance
On the shelf of shop to notice such paste not easy: it merges with other products of Colgate. The design of packing repeats dozens of others from this brand. By the way, the producer has one more paste with the same name, only mint there not Double, but Fresh.
On the description of packing long I will not stop: all is perfectly visible in pictures. I will note only what pleased approval Russian and the recommendation to use of paste by the Ukrainian stomatologists.
Structure
Both that, and in other means contains calcium and fluorine. I do not treat the people who are in panic afraid of fluorine as I trust opinion of the stomatologist. However, I also learned by own experience that paste without fluorine not absolutely suits me: quickly enamel begins to become thinner, the sensitivity of teeth to cold, hot and sour dishes appears. For this reason (plus the recommendation of the stomatologist) I adhere to golden mean: I alternate use of pastes.
But we will return to structure. The calcium carbonate representing that other as … swept is on the first place. Around this means disputes on its advantage and harm are conducted, however neither that, nor another is definitely proved so far. However, as a part of this means do not cost this component you should not be afraid as we are slightly farther we see the hydrated dioxide of silicon which reduces risk of damage of tooth enamel.
Fluorine is presented in paste of 1.1% of the monoftorfosfat of sodium. This ingredient helps enamel to remain strong, prevents formation of a scale and carries out a role antiseptics, perniciously affecting the microorganisms causing caries. But there is one subtlety: from this component fluorine is released much slowly therefore such paste it is necessary to brush teeth in any way not less than three minutes.
There is in structure also a foaming agent - baking soda (sodium bicarbonate), sodium laurylsulphate and also thickeners, flavoring additives and dyes. Preservative – benzylic alcohol.
Frankly speaking, the structure is not ideal, but also not such awful and dangerous. However, if to take into account the low price for paste, then it becomes clear why at means there are a chalk and soda.
Application
Paste of a gentle-green shade, smells of mint (not menthol, namely gentle mint). The taste quite pleasant refreshing mucous does not irritate, the procedure of toothbrushing takes place on "hurrah".
The consistence is uniform, there are no rough, scratching parts here.
Paste well foams (we remember that in structure there is a surfactant), cleans teeth and an oral cavity perfectly, and it influences very softly and delicately.
For high-quality cleaning there is enough droplet of means and three-five minutes of active work as a toothbrush. Before the following procedure of feeling of freshness quite is enough!
Children can use this means from six-year age therefore in our family it is popular. Moreover, daughters so like pastes of Colgate (not this, and in general) that transition to means of other producer takes place in our family hardly.
Paste quite economically is spent: to us, four, the tube lasts for a long time.
As a result
On the advice of the stomatologist of paste from time to time we change, plus once a day we use (children do it with a reluctance) paste without fluorine. Problems with teeth at anybody are not observed. Children in general go to the stomatologist only to routine inspections. Though, certainly, the absence of caries is a merit not so much of toothpaste (any) how many a healthy lifestyle.
And the "Maximum Protection against Caries Double Mint" toothpaste from Colgate. you will not call unambiguously good or bad: it is quite usual budgetary paste.
