The native of the picturesque, awesome city of Italy - at Alessandro Dell’Acqua had no Naples any free minute since he was employed as the graphic designer in Accademia de Belli Arti. Developing design for several prestigious brands, including Iceberg and Mariella Burani, Dell’Acqua at last won hearts of the Italian public, having released the own prêt-a-porter line in 1996 which made instant success and made his name nominal. Its first aroma (Alessandro Dell’Acqua) of the same name, was released in 2001 in which advertizing company Helena Christensen acted, and photos were made by the expert Helmouth Newton.

The policy of distribution of aroma of Alessandro Dell'Acqua was quite strange: it was almost impossible to find it in most shops and supermarkets. I was simply happy, having received a bottle of long-awaited aroma from the reader with whom I often exchange thoughts and samples. When I opened packing, it was my first acquaintance to perfume, and, despite its simplicity, it won my arrangement at once. Official notes are quite deceptive: a geranium, a geranium, sweet peas and a coriander on the top layer, a peony, a rose, a hibiscus in the center. An incense, a sandalwood and musk in a basis. If to make a start from official notes, there can be an impression that it is quite heavy, sweet flower aroma though it and is close to the truth! The official description of aroma claims that Alessandro Dell’Acqua "rushes as a second skin" – and it not only is close to the aroma nature, but also quite exact description. Alessandro Dell’Acqua, actually, one of those great aromas which grease lines meanwhile where finishes fragrance of your own skin and begins perfume. It and impudent aroma thanks to musk. From beginning to end, it is quite linear aroma rotating around the fine musk representing aroma of pure, warm, sweet leather. The aroma at the same time soft and sexual, rushes so easily that you absolutely forget about any presence of perfume! I literally cannot come off and cease to smell the hand as it exhales that pure, attracting fragrance. Each time I am surprised more and more to ability of aroma to smell so "properly", is as realistic as women's skin without any hints on artificiality. Separately from musk, Alessandro Dell’Acqua is characterized by sensual flower aroma of sweet peas and easy powdery chords, but that really gives to aroma a certain completeness, so this use of resistant aldehydes. Fine and mysterious, a little metal and cool, aldehydes create a certain rise in aroma, doing musk typically womanly and … yes, smart. It is very individual aroma which instantly became my favourite in family musky. My assessment - it is magnificent!
