Bitter chocolate or black night? The choice one – BASMA!

Besides henna, in the east there is one more favourite paint – a basma. This environmentally friendly vegetable hair-dye is received from the dried-up leaves of an indigo tropical plant (indigofer) which have greenish-gray color. Basma is applied only together with henna or coffee as one basma paints hair in green-blue color. Basma has remarkable cosmetology properties: stimulates growth of hair and adds them natural gloss, improves structure of hair and strengthens roots, eliminates dandruff.

As well as henna, a basma should be prepared just before drawing on hair - it is impossible to store paint. Depending on length of hair, take from 20 to 100 g of powder of a basma and henna. The ratio is defined between them depending on desirable tone and intensity of a shade. If powders are divorced in a proportion 1:1, then the beautiful chestnut shade will turn out. If you want to receive black as night, hair, then a proportion has to be 1:2 (henna: a basma), but if to change a proportion of the making components (1:2 basm: henna), receive bronze hair.

Smetanoobrazny paint should be applied on dry or moist clean hair and it is the best of all to begin with a nape. An occipital part of the head has the lowest temperature therefore there hair are painted longer. Then apply paint on parietal and temporal parts of the head, and then - on all length. For strengthening of effect put on a polyethylene hat the head and wrap up a terry towel. Paint is held of 20-30 minutes (for obtaining light tone) till 1-3 o'clock (for obtaining dark saturated tone). Sites of the greatest congestion of a gray hair paint 2-3 times.

According to ancient east recipe, for obtaining saturated dark color it is necessary to mix a basma and henna (1:1), 4 spoons of natural ground coffee in porcelain or plastic ware and to fill in with hot white wine. Before full formation of uniform weight to warm up mix on a steam bath.

Unusually magnificent chocolate shade will give to hair mix from henna, basma and usma which leaves were available in an arsenal for each east beauty. Usma tinctorial - a grassy vegetable plant from family mustard. Fresh juice of an usma has bright green color in the beginning, but it quickly darkens and becomes black with a subtle emerald shade. Still usma juice means, very popular in Central Asia, for coloring of eyebrows, eyelashes and hair.

If you want to receive a fashionable shade "a black tulip", then add 3-4 teaspoons of fresh beet juice to the mix of a basma and henna (2:1) which is warmed up on a water bath. And if you add 1 teaspoon of olive oil, then your hair will become much softer and silkier.

However, natural dyes give in to "chemistry" in a question of firmness. Therefore the hair painted by henna and basmy should be spared: to wash with soft shampoos (not to use shampoos of deep cleaning!) and to rinse with the same conditioners and balms. Besides, the modern industry produces the shampoos containing in the structure a henna pigment so, those who have chestnut or bronze shades can safely use these means (Timotei, Home Institut, Shauma). You can maintain intensity of color by means of rinsing. For this purpose fill in mix 25g. henna and 25 g of a basma in 1.5 l. boiled water. Carefully filter, cool and rinse with it hair. To support the received hair shine, it is necessary to humidify and enrich hair with proteinaceous masks regularly. Musk can buy or make most, having mixed 2 yolks, 1 teaspoon of honey, juice of 1 sheet of the scarlet and 1 Part a spoon of castor oil.

It is necessary to remember also that if hair are painted by vegetable paint, then it is impossible to use artificial dyes. Reaction of chemical means and henna from basmy can yield absolutely unpredictable result, up to a blue or green shade. Natural dye has to be washed away completely.
