Mademoiselle Aliks Gres (alix Gres) was born in 1903. Its real name – Germina Aemilia Krebs. She began to create clothes under the name of Alix Barton in the 30th years, and in 1942 created in Paris own design house under the name Gres. The sculptor by training, she became known thanks to the draped silhouettes. The first aroma was released in 1959.
