Parfums Caron was based by Ernest Daltroff in 1904 in Paris. Daltroff was perfumer self-educated person and independently created the first aromas of the brand. Felicie Wanpouille who created bottles and packings of spirits was his partner and a muse. In 1939 Daltroff moved to the USA where he died two years later. The company was headed by Felicie. Aromas were created now by the former assistant Michel Morsetti. Some of them were based on the formulas found in Daltroff records. Today a perfumer of the brand is Richard Fraysse.
